Despite the heavy beating Bitcoin has taken, the sentiment has not turned bearish, and there are still have too many articles being published on a weekly basis claiming that Bitcoin is going to surge to 100K and beyond.Do these experts ever bother to look at the charts before issuing such targets or do they do so after ingesting some toxic substance? We will never know the answer to that question, but what we do know is that in most cases they have no idea of how high or low the market is going to go.  Is the Bitcoin Bull Market dead or just taking a breather?

Thais prefer South Korea as the best place to work overseas illegally, but for many Korea has become “a false promise land” for aliens and sex workers from the Southeast Asian country.

Thailand’s employment department said more than 1,100 Thais tried to enter Korea without a valid visa last year, according to the Bangkok Post, Friday. Most did not acquire a legal working visa as recommended by the Thai government, but instead turned to employment agencies.

The next most-popular countries for illegal Thai workers were Malaysia, Bahrain, Russia and Qatar, employment department chief Anurak Tossarat said Thursday.

Thai ambassador to South Korea Saran Charoensuwan revealed last year that the number of Thai workers coming to Korea had doubled in the previous three years. He said the Thais were “attracted by high salaries that can amount to 30,000 baht ($930) a month.” Read more

BANGKOK: South Korea emerged as the No.1 country globally where Thais planned to work without a proper visa last year before many of their illegal trips were curtailed by authorities.
More than 1,100 job seekers who were stopped from travelling overseas due to having violated labour laws set Korea as their first choice, followed by Malaysia, Bahrain, Russia and Qatar, Employment Department chief Anurak Tossarat said yesterday (Jan 4).

Many of them were lured by job placement companies which were accused of not following proper employment procedures set by the government.

Last year the Thai ambassador to South Korea, Saran Charoensuwan, revealed the number of illegal Thai workers in South Korea had doubled in the previous three years as they were attracted by high salaries which can amount to B30,000 a month.

Those workers were willing to risk arrest as the punishment is not considered that severe, officials said. In most cases of this kind they are sent back to Thailand and blacklisted.

The women claimed they believed the gang’s promises but ended up being forced into the flesh trade. They were reportedly detained and constantly monitored by the racketeers.

The ministry is working with the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the Royal Thai Police, job placement companies and local communities by establishing a centre to prevent and suppress illegal overseas employment in all Thai provinces, Mr Anurak said. Read more
