Brave Mom Catches Man Spying on Daughter

A woman’s encounter with a man accused of spying on her 12-year-old daughter is going viral.

Salt Lake City police arrested 36-year-old Jorge Leon-Alfaro after witnesses said he tried to record the girl from an adjacent dressing room stall inside the Rue 21 store at Brickyard Plaza on Saturday, according to KSTU.

The girl’s mother tracked the man down and recorded her comments toward him as she waited for police to arrive.

“This right here is what a predator looks like,” says the woman in the video. “I caught this guy underneath my daughter’s stall while she was changing at Rue 21.”

The emotional video uploaded to Facebook has been viewed more than four million times. Full Story

Mom Finds Hidden Camera In Daughter’s Locker Room

And finds out that another  Mom’s Been Spying On Her.  This terrible trend needs to end and the only way it can end is for people to stand up and push their leaders to serve out stronger punishment.

Mia Walker was on her school’s swim team in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Every day after practice, the young girl would change out of her swimsuit at the rec centre.

But Mia had no clue she was secretly being filmed in the locker room over the course of four months. And it was happening to the other young female swimmers, too.

Mia’s mother, Christina, happened to notice the glare of a camera lens inside a makeup bag placed in one of the lockers. Little did she know, she’d just busted a massive spy-cam operation.

“I was just in shock,” Christina told Inside Edition. “Absolute shock.”

Things took an even more disturbing turn when detectives realized that the person who planted the camera was actually another mom. Police found 25 cameras in total, after busting this same woman with hours of footage secretly recorded inside several locker rooms.

The woman admitted to her premeditated crime but said the videos were really for the man with whom she was having an affair. Both the man and the mistress were ultimately sentenced to prison.

“Just watch your surroundings when you’re going into a locker room,” Mia warns. “You don’t know what might be in there. You don’t know who might be watching.” Full Story

The spying on Women without consent issues is something that needs to be tackled

Peeping toms are installing clandestine cameras in rental and student properties or public spaces including toilets, swimming pool cubicles, changing rooms and tanning salons, in an attempt to capture explicit photos of women without their consent.

This material is then being uploaded to porn websites where there is said to be a growing market for voyeuristic material.

“It has grown exponentially in the last five to seven years,” he said. “Our caseload is going up, which comes from these things being readily easy to buy. They used to have to go to spy shops but now it’s all on eBay and Amazon. It is shocking. Tech can lead people down some dark roads. It is terrifying. You have got to be very vigilant these days. We check businesses, residential homes, boats, vehicles.”

“That was really grim,” he said. “So many people were connected. We felt it was necessary they contacted the police, and from what I remember the individual was arrested.”

He has also dealt with cases where customers had sent him naked photos and they then had to try to work out where the images were taken. “People put [spy cams] in because they want to be nosy and then they turn into a voyeur. It is the leaking of information which makes people realise they are being spied on, but lots are spied on and never know.”  Full Story
