Happy Retirement: Not Possible For most

Happy Retirement vs Early Retirement

Updated March 2023

Retiring early may sound appealing, but it’s not always the best choice. Many people who retire early struggle financially and emotionally because they haven’t adequately planned for their retirement. The key to a happy retirement is proper planning and preparation. By focusing on a happy retirement, individuals can ensure they have the resources they need to enjoy their golden years.

One of the most significant benefits of a happy retirement is financial security. Individuals planning and preparing for retirement are more likely to have the financial resources they need to live comfortably. This can include savings, investments, and retirement accounts. By focusing on a happy retirement, individuals can ensure they have the resources they need to enjoy their retirement without worrying about money.

Another benefit of a happy retirement is emotional well-being. Many people who retire early miss the structure and social interaction that work provides. By planning for a happy retirement, individuals can ensure a fulfilling and rewarding retirement. This can include volunteering, pursuing hobbies and interests, and spending time with family and friends.

Retiring early may sound like a good idea, but it’s not always the best choice. By focusing on a happy retirement and proper planning and preparation, individuals can ensure they have the financial security and emotional well-being they need to enjoy their golden years. So, let’s shift the focus from early retirement to a happy retirement and enjoy the moment for all it’s worth.

Happy Retirement: Seek Wealth With A Smile

Seeking Wealth Is not Bad, But…..

This means that most people only have a few short years of retirement to look forward to after spending decades working tirelessly. Instead of seeking wealth to retire early, why not seek wealth to enjoy life now and in retirement?

Wealth can provide you the means to travel, learn new things, try new experiences, and spend time with loved ones. It can allow you to pursue your passions, explore your creativity, and give back to your community.

However, pursuing wealth should not come at the cost of your mental and physical health, relationships, or happiness. It is essential to maintain a healthy balance in life and remember that wealth alone cannot buy happiness.

Seeking wealth is not bad, but it should be done in a way that prioritizes your well-being and enjoyment of life. Strive for a happy and fulfilling retirement, but focus on finding joy and fulfilment in the present moment. Life is too short to be spent chasing a dream that may not bring you true happiness.

The Retirement lie. US life expectancy is dropping

So let’s get this straight: you give up the best years of your life, worrying throughout that time whether you will have enough to retire, and then you only have 13 years to enjoy it. Well, it doesn’t sound perfectly sane, does it? You would essentially be wasting the best years of your life, worrying about the worst years of your life. What could possibly go wrong with such a scenario? And to add to that, the average life expectancy has been dropping in recent years.

. The average life expectancy has been dropping in the USA for the third year in a row.

Early retirement Lie; One needs significantly less than the experts claim

The reality is that the exorbitant figures touted by experts for retirement savings are often unnecessary. Even achieving a quarter of the stated figures would challenge most people. Unfortunately, the media and experts use fear tactics to push these numbers, increasing stress levels and potential health issues. Instead of buying into these lies, the focus should be on a peaceful and happy retirement.

However, many people rely on the media and mass media as their primary sources of information, which can lead to a skewed view of the world. The intention behind these sources of information may be to mislead and create a false narrative. This is why it’s essential to question the information we receive and analyze it critically.

Fear is the worst enemy, and being frightened can hinder our ability to make informed decisions. Ultimately, a peaceful and happy retirement should be the ultimate goal, not one filled with stress and anxiety caused by false information and fear-mongering tactics.

Happy Retirement Overview

Retirement is often touted as the end goal in life, but the focus should be on a happy retirement, not an early one. The idea of early retirement is often pushed by experts who claim that a person needs more and more money to retire comfortably. However, this fear only leads to stress and anxiety, which can have adverse effects on a person’s health. The average life expectancy in the USA is only 78.6 years, so working until 65 and only having 13 years to enjoy retirement doesn’t make sense.

Moreover, the media and experts use faulty statistics to paint a dire picture of retirement, which only increases stress levels. It’s essential to focus on a peaceful and happy retirement rather than giving up the best years of your life worrying about the worst years. Seeking wealth is not bad, but it’s essential to enjoy the journey and not to let fear and doubt take over.

Children can have fun with so little, while adults struggle to have fun even with ten times more. Enjoying the present moment is crucial because life is concise, and we don’t know how much time we have left. Even having a decent roof over one’s head, money in the bank, and food put a person ahead of 50% of the world. Anything more than that increases one’s well-being.

It’s important to realize that the seeds of fear are often planted in childhood, and if they’re allowed to grow, they turn into gigantic monsters. The media and experts aim to get people to buy into the lies they’re selling and sow the seeds of doubt. Doubt leads to fear and paranoia, which can negatively affect a person’s mental and physical health.

In conclusion, the focus should be on a happy retirement, not an early or forced one. Seeking wealth is not bad, but it’s essential to enjoy the journey, live in the present moment, and not let fear and doubt take over. Don’t waste the best years of your life worrying about the worst years. Remember that anything beyond having a decent roof over one’s head, money in the bank, and food increases one’s well-being.
