The current bid to ask is 2.30 to 2.60. Avast and NLOK could make for a great combo, but nothing is written in stone.
Hey Sol,

Two queries:

1) How come the system was reporting the NLOK option at 0.05 for a few days? Is this a common occurence? The current reading in my brokerage account is 4.00, so it looks like it's been fixed. This NLOK option looks like it has a lot of gravy left . . .

2) With respect to default guidelines for taking profits on option trades: after selling 50% of a position, how long do you wait before selling the remaining half, in situations where the remaining position continues to go up and demonstrate >100% gains? For example, for some reason the remainder of my NLOK position is up >90% currently, and if/when it goes over 100% do I sell another half, or just close out the position?

1) In my brokerage account I see an order for 4 contracts sold on 7/14 at 2:24 pm for .05. I suspect that someone fat-fingered the transaction and wanted to sell at 5.00 which is how much the previous transaction was for.

NLOK NortonLifeLock agrees to buy cybersecurity provider Avast. It has resulted in a nice bump in the stock price this morning, but the NLOK options haven't reacted as strongly. Price is still not back to the peak at $6 we hit June 8th. Or for that matter even the $5 level right before the mysterious drop to 5 cents (which is still reflected in the option graph). I may set an alert at $6 to keep an eye on it.
Current atmospheric levels of CO2 (400ppm) are much lower than 500 million years ago (3000-9000ppm).

Thanks for the info.
I will watch it closely too as I missed the first exit point.

I sold the first half for a double, then sold the second half on the drawdown, rebought last week a half position, and sold just now for a 50% gain on the pop. Done for now.
