Given the time premium, don’t worry so much about the price you got in as long as the stock hit SOLs target price

Paper trading and then starting with small amounts is the way to go. What I noticed about options is that when you don't care you tend to win more. Having said that one should also be mentally prepared to lose some option trades because it will happen sooner or later but the key factor to keep in mind is that when you lose you can only lose at most 100%, but when you win the sky is the limit. For example, you buy Jan 65 call on Stock ABC for 100 bucks. The stock tanks you lose 100, the stock doubles in price and you could be sitting on gains of over 1000%.
When the words short term appear under any post; the same conditions listed in the Market update under the short term category apply

Proposition: Is it better to paper trade or jump in with both feet? Discuss.SOL wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 3:30 amPaper trading and then starting with small amounts is the way to go. I favor the latter because of the heart pounding feedback and incentive to get it right. With paper trading it's too easy to say: "Well, it's only a paper trade."
But then you might have a different view/experience.

It’s never wrong to practice and options is for the advanced trader. It’s very easy to lose or get sucked in to looking at your options al the time and that’s a recipe for disaster.Budge wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 2:04 pmProposition: Is it better to paper trade or jump in with both feet? Take your time, if you start to feel fear or euphoria then it’s time to stop what you’re doing when you start. You always want to have emotional balance and be deattached when dealing with leverage instruments
One case example was me with the TESLA and BABA puts, I was getting way too anxious and constantly monitoring so I got out of the trade. The stress is not worth it and the market always have some other opportunities to take advantage

Nlok currently down. Can't find a good reason for the decline. I may double down tomorrow if it keeps shitting the bed. Calls are down to $2.04 so if you didn't get in you may want to.
Current atmospheric levels of CO2 (400ppm) are much lower than 500 million years ago (3000-9000ppm).
