:) It was certainly luck. I just took a guess when I saw it to start to drop.

This was not deemed an official T.I. recommendation, but rather earmarked as an unofficial one a few issues back: GBTC 42 - 45. I've been adding to my core crypto. positions on this pullback. As always, playing with crypto. is akin to playing with hellfire.

I'm doing the same. However since OBTC became available and started syncing with bitcoin and is advertising lower cost I decided to cross multiply to enter OBTC at similar price (I set my buy lower at $17.65 for OBTC). My buy hasn't executed yet. To me it appears GBTC (in gold below) is losing ground compared to raw BTC-USD(blue) purchase due to the high fund costs. .I'm hoping OBTC might be slightly better and still track BTC-USD.

GBTC hit its buy point which inspired me to buy RIOT instead (a BTC miner which tends to follow BTC price). It is more volatile and I have had a lot of luck swing trading MARA / RIOT. We shall see ;-)

Yeh, I use HIVE.VN (HVBTF in the U.S.) in the same way . . . a crypto. miner with 1st mover advantage, FWIW. Also happens to hold both BTC and ether on its balance sheets. The CEO Frank Holmes is a very likable guy, also FWIW.

Full disclosure: also hold GBTC, ETHE, COIN.

The analogies aren't perfect by any means, but these filters have worked for me, thus far:

BTC = gold, physical bullion;
GBTC = something like GLD;
ETHE = something like SLV;
COIN = something like FNV;
HVBTF = something like MTA (Metalla Royalty and Streaming);

@Yodean I like your comparisons. ETH to SLV is a great one
