To me, IBM's a great HODL stock for the following reasons:
-near 5% dividend, almost like a high-yield bond;
-part of the A.I. trend;
-quantum computing;
-machine learning;
-most investors seem to think IBM is boring and is not going to do anything;

We will see. I might be bummed I bailed on my put next Tuesday. It's already up today, suggesting insiders think the earnings loss will be less than 9%

5.20 for the AAL call. I'm happily quite terrible at getting the best price when it comes to options, lol.

@Young Yoda: Even though my native currency is the loonie, >80% of my portfolio is in USD-denominated assets, including a lot of USD cash and TLT, so I am also awaiting the big USD rally. Similar to your UUP calls, I would think.

@Budge: if/when USD rips up, TLT may temporarily go down a bit, but I would guess a big rally will follow.

OK, this is not an official fill, just an idea I had based on SOL's HA buy

on 4-20-21 I bought HA Calls 4-14-22 $27 for $3.90

Logic: Hawaiian air and most travel related stocks are down to $23.62 today (lower than our first buy). And everyone I've talked to with Covid Shut-in syndrome who mentioned Europe and Italy then mention those are off the table for now. People then mentioned they'd like to go to Hawaii. So I doubled down (I already bought the first 1/3 lot at $24.55) and bet that HA will head to $27 in 1 year. I think I'll use the profits to go to Morocco for new years. /endirony
