My sheet and greater expertise is in excel but I understand the appeal of google sheet (Free and web based). I didn't know google also can data dip for stock prices but I'll convert my sheet & spend some time on it next week and report back.SOL wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 5:57 pm
I will have our guys look into this, but if someone has already created this or has the expertise for this maybe they can speed up the process. Triplethought might be one such person.
The only downside I see which could be a big one is if the sheet falls into non-subscribers hands and it could be posted anywhere on the net after that.
If I decide to maintain the Google or Excel sheet the disclaimer would be if I make a mistake or miss something I'm not responsible. I assume other users would correct me pretty quickly if there were a problem.
SOL - It seems the same danger of copies of newsletters floating on the web exists as spreadsheets. Do you think it a bigger threat from a security standpoint? As a minimum another disclaimer saying DO NOT PROVIDE THIS to anyone else. Excel sheets can have passwords so that even if emailed elsewhere you have to have the password to open. But if we have any subscribers who are dishonest they could email the copies, links, or passwords to their buddies no matter how we protect it.
Mine looks like this (this is only small part)
