I agree, just figure the near term may result in drawdown. I had sold the losing position and repurchased shares between 7 and 8 bucks so I made a profit over the two plus year period. So I will rebuy on any weakness. A good trade is a win.

Sold two 12P for $1.60 today Dec 24 expiry. If price drops I have the chance to buy or purchase shares.

I came very close to selling myself, but then considered the MU update in which Sol addresses the merger/acquisition without specifying any price target. I refrained from acting on that impulse for the time being.

On top of the sharedholders vote that could sweeten the deal, this sudden price action might spice things up a bit from my perspective, considering the high short% on the stock. The short side of this trade evidently could not plan for this happening, hence making me err on the "patient" side of that coin flip, as of right now.

If you do have a reasonably prominent position, then taking some profits might not be a bad idea with the intent of getting back in. However, I would not sell my entire position. There is a decent chance it could test the 11.40 range, but please note I use the word "could" and not will
