I'm buying some QQQ on the dips

Post by Triplethought »

I had a limit order that was 3% below market on the NASDAQ index to buy QQQ. After I got 1 lot I reset the limit 3% lower and got a second lot today. Anyone else buying dips?
Current atmospheric levels of CO2 (400ppm) are much lower than 500 million years ago (3000-9000ppm).

Also got PUI at $31.03 and NLOK leaps at $2.30. Since UPW is a red play decided to wait for 2nd lot entry points.

Gee you made me realize I never updated the ETF plays. Just went in and put an order on PUI. I no longer see a play for TQQQ (doesn't matter as Vanguard won't let me buy multiplied ETFs anyway).

I also put an order in for IDU as a proxy for UPW since Vanguard won't let me do leveraged ETFs. I cross multiplied to get the equivalent entry points for IDU to match the UPW issued by SOL

I got into the Norton NLOK Call just now. probably paid too much. Paid $2.40. I just can't get the hang of how to price my options buys. Hopefully it won't matter much.

2.40 is the range I got in also so don’t feel too bad, we have plenty of time premium on the calls

TQQQ targets are in the 2/1/21 update

Deploy one third in 66 to 70.20 ranges

Thanks that helps. Cross multiplying gives an average entry point for QQQ at 228.43. I kinda don't think that's happening any time soon. :-)

We did very well last year and for the first part of this year. Therefore it is prudent to let some sectors blow off some steam or wait for the overall markets to pullback. Now if bearish sentiment were to rise sharply, we would raise the entry points on TQQQ. It is never wise to chase money just for the sake of making more. It takes effort to make money and no effort to lose it. :geek: :geek:
