TMF Critical Point

Post by jonnyfrank »

It seems that support is at around $54.34 for TMF right now....I am surprised by the big jump in rates and slump of bond prices. Will this hold or is it bound to drop further? I want to jump in at this price but......

My two cents, we're close.

Another leg down would set up a buying opportunity on the divergence of indicators which I follow (not TIs). Below Sol's entry of 91 looks very attractive down to 88 level.

Will be a buyer as I unloaded 2/3 of my TLT/ TMF otw up.

The trajectory of TLT is currently on an ideal path. It's a common occurrence in today's market for assets to experience a breakout only to be pulled back shortly after. Conversely, overbought markets often seem to falter before rallying once more.

This pattern is part of a broader strategy to falsely encourage investors to adopt what they think is a contrarian position but, in fact, is a detrimental strategy. Oversold markets are portrayed negatively to dissuade further investment, while those overbought are made to appear attractive, enticing more buyers.
