Exxon and PXD announced Exxon will take over PXD for 253$ per share.

PXD price has hit and even surpassed 253$ currently trading at 255 $. I am thinking of banking profits because it should not go much higher. Or am I missing something?

Agree. But not sure the regulators will approve, so sell half and buy more on any dips.

I need to correct my initial post. The take over is not for 253$ per share but 2,3234 Exxon shares per PXD share. On the day of announcement this equilibrated to 253$ while it dropped in the meantime according to Exxons share price.
Looks like our PXD play turned into an Exxon play, at least for now.
