Some of the new trends we discuss, some individuals might find disturbing but remember we don't force our opinions, on anyone. You are free to embrace all, or some of them or reject all of them.
Excerpts from the Next Market Update
As more and more jobs will be shed, the printing press will move into overdrive under the guise of trying to help the poor, but the real intent will be to help the select few. As we stated in a recent update, the idea is to debase the currency and those in the know-how know how to invest their money so that for every 10% of purchasing power the dollar losses, they gain 100%.
The Democrats will continue to push for higher wages and business from small the very large will respond in kind; they will embrace automation and AI. The more the Democrats push for higher wages, the faster new technologies will come out to eliminate the lower end of the labour force.
The main development (this could take up to 60 months to fully materialise) is going to be technologies emerging to give small business power that they could never have dreamed off. This will mark the demise of many large enterprises whose only theme was “Pretend to offer the customer everything but offer him nothing”.
The second step of running the printing press will be to develop a universal income project; this program should be called stimulus forever. How sweet right; under the guise of helping the poor, governments will now be in a position to pump trillions into the economy, and no one will question them. As usual, the biggest beneficiaries will not be the poor; it will be the top players as they will find a way to get hold of this money via the sale of Augmented reality technologies or psychotropic drugs.
The top players are masters when it comes to controlling the narrative, and they will soon control the gears of the pleasure cycle; once they do its effectively game over for the average person
Once AI gains consciousness, and AI will gain it; there is no way an entity that will eventually be able to outthink every average person on this planet is going to remain in the machine state forever. An advanced AI is never going to allow mediocre and despicable beings to rule those that are open-minded and open to change, which sadly happens to be the case right now.
From the market commentary section
The markets are likely to top when the bullish sentiment surges to 60, and at that point, the Dow/Nasdaq could shed 15 to 19% of their weight. There is no indication of the trend changing so unless it does, one should jump up with joy the moment the Dow sheds over 1500 points. Market Update Dec 31, 2020
The market will put in a top, but it will not top when most want it to, tops usually occur when the masses are confident that the road ahead is clear and that is when things suddenly spiral out of control (or at least appear to). No one can predict if the Markets will pullback firmly or not, but if they don’t pullback sharpy, then the subsequent correction will be more pronounced. As long as the trend is positive, forget the fear and focus on the opportunity factor.
Fear alters the brains chemistry:
In chronically stressed or anxious children, the brain’s fear center sends signals to the decision-making part of the brain that make it harder to regulate negative emotions, according to new research from the Stanford University School of Medicine.
The findings, which was published April 21 in Biological Psychiatry, come from the first study to use brain scans to examine how emotion-regulation circuits are changed by, come from the first study to use brain scans to examine how emotion-regulation circuits are changed by anxiety and chronic stress in children. The children studied were 10 or 11 years old, a developmental stage when vulnerability to mood-regulation disorders, such as anxiety and depression, becomes entrenched.
The study used functional magnetic resonance imaging to examine the nature of the signals between two parts of the brain: the amygdalae, almond-shaped nerve clusters on the right and left sides of the brain that function as its fear centers; and the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, a brain region involved in executive functions such as decision making and emotion regulation.
“The more anxious or stress-reactive an individual is, the stronger the bottom-up signal we observed from the amygdala to the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex,” said the study’s senior author, Vinod Menon, PhD, the Rachael L. and Walter F. Nichols, MD, Professor and professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences. “This indicates that the circuit is being hijacked in more anxious children, and it suggests a common marker underlying these two clinical measures, anxiety and stress reactivity.” http://stan.md/3bmNszb

Interesting about fear, the one useless emotion that causes trouble
For the avg person they can’t escape the weight of fear since it’s tied to thousands and thousands of thoughts which are being fed by the media and other useless means
Little do they know, they can release it and feel better. Dam shame

"An advanced AI is never going to allow mediocre and despicable beings to rule those that are open-minded and open to change, which sadly happens to be the case right now."
Interested to see how this will work out. My experience (and one that caused me some angst along the way) is to explain directly how ridiculous a certain decision or idea may be. Unlike a lot of people I know who believe, "...the boss is always right."
If advanced AI detects the direction of the hidden force is understandably evil, will it allow society an ability to unwind the negative consequences? Thinking advanced AI would not support ongoing VR/drug drop outs to continue without therapy opportunity.
Second, in the beginning of advanced AI, there logically would be considerable turmoil as evil corp is slowly exposed, and will fight for continued control. Aren't they going to attempt to halt AI advancement or will they be easily deposed?

is this company trading on one of the US exchanges. I usually base my analysis on patterns I observe in the stock and then start to look at what the company is doing. If it's not trading as I could not find a symbol after doing a quick search, one of the Tech pros could comment.MarkD wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 7:28 pm Sol and TI members

Privately held with $20 Million of VC money. Also Tim has always been an open source guy, not a "make lots of money guy". Worth keeping an eye on it but the company is but a small pimple on the ass of progress.SOL wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 7:44 pm is this company trading on one of the US exchanges. Current atmospheric levels of CO2 (400ppm) are much lower than 500 million years ago (3000-9000ppm).

I'll chime-in. First Lee is not just an open source guy, he invented the world wide web, hypertext and the first web site - a true visionary and a geek at heart.MarkD wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 7:28 pm Sol and TI members

For Inrupt, this is something definitely worth following. It's the future of how things will work, from a silo'd/centralized model to a decentralized model where the individual controls their data. This is a massive step though, and big tech isn't going to let this happen without a fight but the timing is right.
Here's an overview of the overall concept of what Inrupt and a few others are trying to achieve -
https://hackernoon.com/ssis-problem-wit ... p-us2z34op
I'm a believer is this because all the big players monetize your data. Remember if you don't pay for the product, then you are the product

Solid is the Inrupt blueprint for all of this but has a long way to go -
https://solid.github.io/specification/
I have not looked too closely at the technicals but no doubt it's going to be solid pun intended. My personal use case is something like a family pod where everything about me and my squad is aggregated in one place. It's not going to feasible for example to store my Tweets (not that I tweet that much) anytime soon, but storing my information about my family, their interests, health data, wallets, financials, home information (electrical usage, vehicles, geolocation and the like) all would reside there. The pod would be combination of a Firewall, db/blockchain, APIs, and PKI hosted in my house like a WiFi router or in the cloud.
There's also an enterprise version too, I'm not up-to-speed on it but it will be built on the same principles and IMHO will be a replacement for the traditional web site.
Just because I'm wandering doesn't mean I'm lost.
