Performance review and lot size changes?

Felt that the start of the year is a good time to ask,

How often do you fellows do reviews of your investment portfolio to decide how much to put as TI/real estate/cash etc?

And how often do you change the size of a lot? Since in theory the overall portfolio is changing every single day so the lot size is also changing all the time.
How frequently do you adjust it?

Great question. Like all great questions, no "right" answer - depends on the individual.

Speaking for myself:

-I leave all personal emotions aside when making decisions regarding lot sizes, etc. - I base them purely on performance.

-I generally review once a year. My TIT portfolio performed well in 2020, and almost matched my non-TIT portfolio in profits (plenty of PMs, cryptos, GAMANF stocks, uranium in the latter), so I doubled my TIT lot sizes in 2021 for asset allocation purposes, as my non-TIT allocation was simply growing too fast.

-My non-TIT portfolio crushed my TIT portfolio by a significant margin in 2021, so I am decreasing my TIT lot sizes by 50% for 2022.

-This is not meant as a criticism of the TIT - quite the opposite, actually - the results in my non-TIT portfolio really improved when I adapted some of the core TIT principles of trend, sentiment, and technical analysis to how I traded assets in my non-TIT portfolio. So in a sense, even my non-TIT portfolio is significantly influenced by TIT methodology, and therefore the TIT also deserves some measure of credit for the profits in my non-TIT portfolio.
