Only just caught up with this one, love it.
I think it was an episode of The Simpsons where there is no TV because it is being repaired or something. The entire family sits around staring at the wall where the TV had been.

That is what most American families are, nothing but couch potatoes, watching crap and waiting for snappy sound bites, they treat as news
