I feel bad for her, actually. I think she sincerely believes in what she preaches. From what I remember, she is also on the spectrum and did not have a particularly happy childhood.

Re: Greta the great nowhere to be seen
Three options for her
The easy one
Smoke a blunt or several if you are of age and I think she is and all will be well, for a period
Middle level
Eat a lot of chocolates (preferably with more than 50% Cocoa). Sugar and Cocoa reduce stressor hormones significantly and help give you that "good feeling" feel.
Slightly difficult
Go to the graveyard, and instantly one will realize if there is any grey matter upstairs, that one is better of than everyone around them. It is a sobering thought at times to be surrounded by so many dead

VPD
I completely and totally disagree.
It is obvious, from what I have seen and drawing upon my extensive medical background, that Greta can only be suffering from one cause: vitamin P deficiency (VPD).
P = penis

I am at a loss of words for now but using Harry's observation about ankles. I will have to say her ankles appear relatively thin

Also, I would like some brownie points for not rising to this one. It took some self-control.
I have considered it. The future is indeed bleak.

I am sure there was an immense battle to respond, quite surprised that you did not respond via a satirical skit. Humn Harry you are growing much too fastharryg wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 7:14 pm'Twas Scott, but I'll take it![]()

Looks like you got some points you are now an advanced Knight. Next I will have to work on the brownies or was the brownie request directed at Yodean
Sorry Scott of wrongly crediting the ankle analogy to Harry but Harry is good sport and willing to take the credit rather than let it go to waste

Always good to be armed with facts.
Edited to add: I still think she is A.I. They made her look very much like her dad.

Unfortunately this one was not debunked.
I therefore assume that it did indeed work.

Wave of workers reportedly lied about skill set and experience in their interview process
The old bait and switch is now the latest job market phenomenon. Some job seekers are actually using deception to get new positions by hiring someone else to attend their job interviews for them, then they show up on the first day leaving hiring managers dumbfounded. Now, Dave, I'm partly horrified and partly impressed. I'm horrified because the anxiety of waiting to get that tap on their shoulder that you're busted, but the guts you have to have to show up to a job you are unqualified for, I just don't understand it. I'm shocked, shook.
- I am equally flabbergasted that anyone thinks they could actually get away with this. And the story they tell about a hospital worker who went there and instead of fixing some technology, shut down every medical device on a particular floor at a hospital for more than an hour, which could cost lives. A potentially devastating impact, but it also risks companies reputation, their customers' safety, and some say even national security. The FBI says North Korea has people applying for IT jobs in the US under false pretenses. Had no idea this was happening, but [? Shawna, ?] under remote hiring, anything is now possible.
- It is. I guess anything is possible. I mean, my question to these candidates who are using other people to go through the job process, how do you think you're going to get away with this? Because this analysis show that it's most common in the IT department. So workers that specialize, that need a very, very specific skill set.
So yes, you might get the job, but you might be out of the job very, very fast. Because like you were using your example there, Dave, shutting down all the computers on a hospital floor. Your hiring manager, your coworkers are going to figure it out very, very quickly. But a huge security risk here, a huge problem, and potentially a deadly one, like you were saying. So an interesting new phenomenon and hopefully it doesn't pick up any steam.

I want it yesterday and for "free" trend is gathering steam. This is a disaster waiting to happen.

Re: The dumb and dumber section
This is an observation at the IT department of a bank I work with. It seems that they have successfully implemented a system to weed out honest people and only allow dishonest people to be hired. It all starts at the beginning of the hiring process. They list down a ton load worth of required skill sets spreading across vast domains that none of the people in the bank are even capable of. Any decent person who read that job description will not even attend the interview. Only those who lies through their teeth will even attempt the interview. After listening to almost 50 of such interviews, I asked the interviewer, how does he decide who to hire? He replied, “the person who tells me he doesn’t know how to do something he says he’s capable of gets the job”. To which I said, “oh.. you are just looking for an honest person….”
