Looks like today, the hammer has been dropped. Hate to say this, the USA is officially a banana republic. Marginalized Republican voters have now begun to act like BLM and Antifa. And the media says it's all Donnie's fault, while ignoring what transpired from the other camp for the past ten months. They even treated the leftists as heroes. The silent are no longer going quietly into the night.

Discretionary money will continue to drift away from traditional havens, organized sports, big city venues, large non-profits with shady operations. The move accelerated with the masking and lockdowns. Today means it's permanent.

If SOL is right this entertainment money will drift to drugs, virtual reality. Plus I'm guessing Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, computer Games, virtual exercise platforms (like pelaton). I've heard Fortnite is hosting concerts in their virtual reality space and I'm wondering if this game environment will grow to be the VR platform for various entertainment as well as technical conferences.

But I do think with the vaccine will come an uptick in real world travel and entertainment.

Politically I think those of us on the right are screwed. The left have now won and will never allow the right a fair chance again. At this point I think America will decline over the next few decades including our freedoms and our economic might. It will take a while to rot but with European style politics why would America be exceptional. Nope. Beginning of the end my friends.

What reduces freedom, everyone will be tempted to say its the police or the politicians or those with a police state mindset. Now its Fiat and ever so often we have mentioned that as the amount of Fiat surges, freedom, especially in the West, is going to be a rare commodity. So expect things to get a lot worse. To lighten up the situation a whole array of drugs will be legalised because the best solution is to create a miserable scenario and then provide an escape route. The AI machine trend and the Drugs to help the masses cope with the Crap trend are going to experience massive surges. The last part is that it is possible that there is a massive divide in the US such that the Red states now start to openly challenge the blue states and the current administration. When the Right was in power it was the leftists that created the problems, now that the Lefties are in power, the rights are going to probably raise hell.

This was a staged event. There are enough videos that showed very little resistance from the security authorities. Even videos of the "police" escorting buses of agitators to the rally.

This reminds me of coups in other countries without the high level of violent and chaos.

It was a good lesson for me in observing.

I didn't see those videos but it seemed like a small fraction of the crowd made it to the building based on the videos I watched. And there was a lot of resistance from what I saw so if you're implying that government was involved I'm not sure if I buy into that. Maybe I'm missing your point.

I believe Sol's AR = Augmented Reality.

It's all happening extremely fast . . . I've been playing with the Oculus Quest 1, which is pretty old, by tech time frames, and it's already pretty good. My wife got nauseated using it while watching a rollercoaster VR video, just like she would in "real" life.

That whole argument that we are actually already living in a VR world, but we don't know it, is not completely impossible, in my mind. Elon may have been right about this one, or just on really good weed.

Why do you believe countries that experience little freedom today will start to have more freedom in the future?

Superficial Level 2.22 analysis:
-People from countries that have experienced suppression of basic individual freedoms, etc. in their recent history, tend to have long memories, and assume governments and mass media are generally lying or not telling them the complete truth, so they either passively, or actively, tend not to follow rules imposed on them, or find ways around them; this trend will accelerate, especially with the help of A.I.;
-A couple of examples:
-A friend of mine who works for the U.S. Federal government as a patent attorney is currently based in Kiev, and he tells me that when he walks around the city, most of the citizens aren't following the mask rules or physical distancing, etc.; and most of them do this not because they've actually analyzed the high-quality studies on cv19 or the studies showing the general uselessness of masking, but because they look around, see mostly empty hospitals (accounting for seasonal variation, i.e. during flu season normally, hospitals tend to be busier than normal), don't know anyone who died from cv19, etc. and also assume their government is probably lying about something, etc.
-My wife is of Romanian/Hungarian descent, and her family still lives in Romania; her parents and their friends kind of have the same attitude as the people in Kiev;
-on the other hand, here in Canada, where I currently reside, most people I know, even those in the healthcare fields, watch CNN and assume everything Anderson and Wolf says is true; their attitude is, "It's the news, they are trying to help us . . . why would they lie?" Then if you try to tell them otherwise, they assume you are some type of weird conspiracy theorist. And of course, oy vei, they like Fauci. They also think the government actually wants to help them.

The pendulum always swings both ways, there is no going around this, so it was just a matter of time before American the land of the free becomes America the land of the imprisoned. Like the stock market, life does not trend in one direction. Every life experiences Joy, peace, tragedy, sorrow, etc., but life goes on. For the record, the countries with iron rulers or supposedly less freedom then the US handled COVID better than the western world, and the citizens in most of those nations have more freedom right now than those in the west.

Life is nothing but a mirage of colours, freedom is a state of mind, and if the state is altered the perception associated with freedom are altered. This is why in the west they have mounted such an aggressive media assault on the masses regarding the COVID pandemic. The idea was to change the perception permanently, now that has been achieved, freedom as the masses knew it is over, now the reality will follow.

SOL, I continue to fail 4.0 analysis. Because if someone arrests me and puts me in jail I will view it as a bad day. If God forbid they beat or torture me I fail to see how my perceptions can be altered enough for me to determine the day to be good (as I lay in a pool of my own suffering).

I realize this is a rather extreme example but even if the government just raises my taxes to 50% (I currently pay 36% federal tax) it would be hard not to have a foul mood associated with that. Like it or not externalizations impact us. Taxes are collected at gun point (eventually if you don't pay them).

Now I realize I can choose to "make the best of it" and that there are people who spend years in prison and come out OK. In fact, there are those who choose to go into a cave and meditate for 10 or more years - effectively imprisoning themselves - and seem happy with that lifestyle. So I'm not denying a person could choose to try to make the best of their days in prison. But that doesn't change the fact that for me prison sucks.

Maybe you could resolve these negative thoughts for me.

Negative thoughts are really just another illusion, and if you’re stuck in the pattern loop of it then it’s almost can impossible to escape, hence why the masses continue to be in misery with the fiat system.

Negative emotions carry thousands and thousands of thoughts, which essentially are not yours but a product of your upbringing, perceptions and all other host of rubbish.

You can imagine all the masses with their negative thoughts and mechanicalness as one ball of energy that wants you to join it and strip you of your self. In transurfing this is pendulums, pendulums you can’t get rid of but you can choose to not participate. Also they can work for you. Being an observer is key, pendulums can’t grow without feeding it

If the taxes are high? You know the answer, either move or live in misery
If in jail? Depends on what you did. If one remembers themself then they can stop negative thoughts from forming to negative emotions then action. Or not. Life is not always fair but there is always good with bad in every situation.

The solutions are within you, I know it sounds too woo-woo but it’s true.

In order to lessen or view negative emotions as a fly that’s nothing, you should do the process of letting go.
