Current atmospheric levels of CO2 (400ppm) are much lower than 500 million years ago (3000-9000ppm).

Either the CEO is mad after having invested billions into this stock at a much higher price, in which all of us screwed (including us, as we took positions in it) or this is a monumental buying opportunity.bpcw wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 7:38 pmThanks, got in a 1st lot at $37.24Triplethought wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 5:45 pm Asan shit the bed this morning after some of us got in @ $43.20 average. sitting $36.86 if anyone wants to get in below recommended 41 to 45 ranges

What is remarkable, is that a large number of companies that were doing well before in the tech sector are now taking a beating. This is quite an unusual development given that the indices are still holding up well. Did you see that the CEO of draft King was almost begging people to buy by indirectly stating that they are making one of the biggest mistakes in their lives?
There are only two possible explanations (well maybe more but two main ones). Something is happening that none of us can see. We are all blind
Or the controversial explanation: The big players know that these companies are going to go through the roof in the years to come and want to accumulate mind-boggling positions so they can just sit back and relax. This suggests that the crash of the 4th quarter might be targeted more at the indices and the companies that were not crushed in this phase. From an MP perspective, this option makes more sense. However, time will tell.

The Big Boys
I favour this as my base case, for the most part. What often seems to happen is that right before a big trend is set to take off, the Big Boys (BB) smash the stocks in that sector down in a big way, then slowly accumulate. The process could take months to years.
As a recent example, shortly after Zuckerberg announced FB's foray into the Metaverse in a big way, after an initial rally, a lot of stocks that looked to have huge potential for creating the Metaverse (ironically, including FB itself) got absolutely hammered, and are still down big.
It may take two or three years, but I would bet those assets will do really well.
As an aside, this is also one of the reasons I don't take technical analysis (TA) too seriously.
Never fall in love with anyone's TA, especially your own. Nobody, using any form of TA, could have predicted FB's big drawdown afterhours, for example.
When the BBs want to, they can make any market sector go up or down, regardless of "MACD crossovers," for example. LMAO.
No billionaires use TA to get rich, to my best knowledge. Some apparently use Vedic Astrology.
With that said, I do study charts everyday, as well as trends. The latter is much more important.

Yodean, you seem to believe very strongly in the future metaverse. As you say, its only a bet. A bet on the dream of an evil man after watching the movie "ready player one". And this man is the boss of an evil company, and this company is more and more rejected and hated by a lot of people. I dont bet on the victory of evil.....Yodean wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 2:00 pm

On the contrary, the bad guys dominate the world, what’s good or bad does not matter when it comes to the markets.
Only trends matter, the masses are clueless by design. No one has been able to wake them up. Them joining a VR pod and never jacking out will likely be most of their future.

It’s not whether I’m negative about them, humanity has the potential to be something great but not all of humankind will achieve this feat. I’m no saint either but as long as fiat exists then the masses have sealed their fate

Markets expressed disappointment with earnings so it gets downgrades to panic the sheep. Gotta beat it down so the white shoe boys/PTB can walk along and just pick it out of the gutter.Triplethought wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 5:45 pm Asan shit the bed this morning after some of us got in @ $43.20 average. sitting $36.86 if anyone wants to get in below recommended 41 to 45 ranges

Whether Facebook succeeds with its "all-in" move into the Metaverse or not, the Kali Yuga Metaverse (KYM) is coming - of this I have little doubt.stefk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 8:14 pm Yodean, you seem to believe very strongly in the future metaverse. Other companies may indeed disrupt FB (I have allocations to some of these companies, too), but the KYM is coming ... I am 99.9% sure. FB may or may not do well, but the asymmetry for significant profits, especially at current FB prices, is there for me.
Of course, I can't predict the exact timing when the KYM trend will go parabolic - could be 2 - 3 years, or 3 - 5, or even longer.
In a way, we are already in the Metaverse - it's just that right now, it's two-dimensional, not three-dimensional (yet).
The internet may be conceptualized as a two-dimensional KYM. For example, when you sign on into the TIT forums, you are entering the TIT Metaverse, in a way. And so forth.
So, the three-dimensional KYM is a logical progression of the current 2D KYM. 3D KYM is not necessarily imminent, but it is inevitable, I would think. When it comes to certain trends, I am pretty patient.
Yeh, FB's founder may or may not be evil, but in my study of world history thus far (which is ongoing), the evil guys almost always win. I am not talking about the mainstream garbage history taught in schools, but the real history, at least the bits I can find.
Some examples of fairly "good" dudes:
1) Assange (jailed, continuous torture by CIA).
2) JFK (assassinated).
3) Bruce Lee (poisoned dead).
4) A bunch of African heads-of-state who resisted the cv19 conspiracy in early to mid-'20 (all dead).
5) Martin Luther King Jr.
6) Jesus of Nazareth (moneychangers arranged to have him arrested and killed).
Evil stocks and dudes usually do fairly well, or even excellent. Look at MSFT, lol. Schwab's over 80-years old and looks pretty good, Soros is over 90, I think, and seems fairly bright. And of course, there's Bill G.

Re: ASAN
Well, the kali yuga began 6000 years ago with the writing invention. The question is when will this kali yuga end.
For the little story, money is the source of the writing invention in the sumerian empire. The first cuneiform tablets
were accounting scriptures. The first name of the first man in the history is an accountant.!!! The accounting is the base of the civilization.
The passage between the kali yuga and the new golden age will be an instantaneous changeover, the metaverse
wont be instantaneous. Its difficult to find a relation between this metaverse and the end of kali yuga.
...................................................
Scwhab, bill gates, soros and others, if you think they are looking good, we dont have the same idea of good
looking.
These evil men are horrible, and we see it on their faces and bodies.
You and me and others from TIT are good looking, we are not evils and we also are winners (for the moment)
