Re: Tell us a little bit about yourself and or your trading experience
Hello everyone
Normally I am not much for talking about myself, but let’s give it a shot. Been trading for roughly 20 years. First five years, I got hammered like no tomorrow, mainly due to listening to fake experts and following the masses. The next 3-5 years, I did okay. Overall I managed to make money even though I took some bad shots. After that I came into contact with TI and my results improved exponentially. The best benefit was that my workload in terms of doing research etc, dropped by almost 70%.
Now I just look into the companies that SOL recommends instead of starting from scratch. I am a patient investor. I have no problems waiting months for an investment to come to me. Having visited many countries, I don’t buy the crap that we need X amount of dollars to retire. When you look at what the experts are pushing, you notice that at the top of the list is money for health-related problems, in other words medical insurance. My answer to that is to keep in good health. The key element to good health is being at your ideal weight. If you can do that, the other measures are relatively easy to follow.
I was hesitant to join this forum as I thought it would be just like all the other forums where most of the information published is as good as sewage and even less useful. However, when Sol mentioned it in the last few updates, curiosity took over and I am glad I joined. Reading a few of the posts made me realize that this forum is nothing like any other forum I have traversed in the past. Packed with intelligent individuals and useful information.

I think you have been added. However, every subscriber should remember that they have to register before we can do anything. After registering you can send an email to [email protected] stating that you have registered and would like to have the approval process speededup. These instructions are posted in each issue.RogueKoiFish wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 1:49 am Sol,
Can you add me to the AITT (Artificial Intelligence Trend Trader) forum and newsletter.
I can't message anyone to add me and thought it sent a message to the admin or board but doesn't show any messages in my outbox. Maybe I don't have permission yet to do this.
Would appreciate your help to get added to the group. If you have seen a message for this you can disregard it. Couldn't message directly so posting in the forum so it gets someones attention.
Look forward to learning about Tactical Investing, trend lines, mass psychology, and artificial investment opportunities.
Thank You

Sol,
Appreciate the help and am registered in the AI forum now. There is a lot to read in the forum and newsletters. Will spend a month studying charts for the stocks you pick to understand the method before buying any stocks. Maybe I will start buying stocks sometime in January due to the holidays and taking time to review everything. I will make sure to ask the group some questions first.
Thank you

Welcome aboard both the forums are mind-blowing in my opinion. I have yet to find forums with so many like minded people. Without these forums, I suspect I would be more angry/depressed lol.RogueKoiFish wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 6:44 am Sol,

Thank you Chippermon. I missed the beginners information earlier on. Maybe too many newsletters for me to review. So far great information.

Re: Tell us a little bit about yourself and or your trading experience
Hey All,
I've been investing for a good 20+ years. It's always been fun for me and I really do love learning about the markets and watching them react to different influences. Because I view the markets as "fun", It has afforded me a lot of patience when volatility is high and has helped me be successful when i do invest.
I've had some bad luck a few times that has forced me to empty my accounts(health, divorce, helping loved ones). But I've also made some choices which has also tied up my money in other investments, like starting a business etc. I'd say in the last 20 years, I've had to restart about 5 times. lol. I'm back now, starting with a modest amount and can't wait to take advantage of the next buying opportunities with TI. With all the ups and downs I've had to go through, and all the different mistakes I've made when moving my money around. I'm finally positioned to stay in this for the long run!
After some wild west type of investing in the early 00s, my investing strategy has developed into something that, when I've been able to, has been very successful. This is my 2nd go around with TI and don't plan on stopping again.
My investing rules are:
- not to buy any stock that I'm not willing to hold for years. What I felt was a stock that I was willing to hold for years didn't have a lot to do with its fundamentals or financials(as long as neither was a disaster, lol), but more about where i believed the market the company was in was going, and where the services or products they offered fit into that market. After finding TI, I realized my way of thinking was aligned and he provided additional tools and a higher form of thinking that has really helped me become a confident investor.
- Portfolio management. I've always done this but TI has made me see how important it really is, has I have broken this rule a couple times.
- Diversify.
- Always do the opposite as my buddy Dave. This has a 100% success rate.

Wise words. I have a buddy like your friend Dave. As a sentiment indicator, he's worth his weight in gold, and maybe even BTC.phsmith1616 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 3:01 pm - Always do the opposite as my buddy Dave. This has a 100% success rate.![]()

Should have added that of the two crucified with Jesus, Dismas was right and went with Jesus to paradise, but the other was an early DTCH named Gestas because he went down below (presumably). I suppose he Gestas wrong.
