Lol, just kidding!
For a pint and fish and Chips, I would gladly join you if I was anywhere near the UK and listen to all the words of wisdom that you cared to share.

Harry is also there right and If I am not mistaken Budge resides there too. Can you imagine the conversation we would have, we would have to have a lot of drinks flowing as our throats would probably be parched from talking more than we have in years. It is very hard to meet a group of individuals where you feel like you have something in common with everyone nowadays.

Without saying too much as when you say too much the deed no longer matters. I and many at TI are involved in many charitable projects, that is all i will say anymore will sound like I am trying to be a good guy. I look at the market as an ATM when i need i invest more, but for most, I don't need much. If not for the psychological aspect I would have quit looking at the market years ago. The markets are the best way to analyse oneself and humanity for it reveals the worst and the best of humanity

if i am anywhere close to you, for everyone 1 you buy I will buy three. And I will probably also come with a nice bottle of vodka. One of the best things about doing this is that I have had the chance to meet many great people both online and offline. Look up Epicurus if it were possible I would have liked to live a life similar to his, but alas we live in a world full of greed. Sometimes I feel I was born in the wrong era for I subscribe to my grandfather's ideology

Your word is your bond
Treat your fellow men like you would like them to treat you
A good friend is priceless and worth his weight in Palladium or Platinum
A handshake should be good enough to seal a deal without a massive contract with a lot of fine print

Yeah I can dream, but I will stop now before I am forced to drink some vodka. The tragedy in Ukraine has dampened my mood a bit. I have many good friends there and they are trapped.

The first shares transaction I did was via a broker in London called Walker Crips Weddle Beck. I was not an existing client. I rang them up out of the blue and said I wanted to buy some Thames Water or whatever it was. They said how much? I said £2500/worth. They said OK, asked for my name and address and did the deal on the phone. A few days later a slip came in the post confirming the trade and requesting that I send them a cheque.

How things change.

Y'all (like minded peeps) have a haven (not heaven) here too. Only 240 Km from Moscow (but nothing like what most think Russia is) in Kashin. You'll be greeted with my own homemade (by definition) самогон (moonshine, white lightening, legal here, better for you than vodka) and my insignificant other's borscht (which is usually very good, but like my chili, different every time) (parenthetically speaking) with an obligatory clove of garlic.

I don't talk much (prefer to listen).

This sounds very welcoming, Scott.

Not talking much and drinking? Ideal ;)

I rabbit on here a bit, but in real life am quite taciturn. I like the adage "Better to keep one's mouth shut and to be thought of as stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt". Don't always stick to it, but I like it.

Sorry I missed Sol's reference to me being in the UK (my preferred term is England and I'm a Pompey lad) but I exited stage right. The missus (a Pennsylvania lass) wanted an English butler   so we now move between our beach house in North Carolina and our place in Norfolk, Virginia (waiting for Vlad to drop some rockets on the Norfolk Naval Shipyard!)

Yeah, how times have changed. If that was allowed now, people would only pay if the stock went up and run if it went down. Or never pay. The outcome for anyone doing that today would be
Bad
Very bad
Destroyed

You and Eric should meet up. Over some hard liquor you could test all his guns, preferably on non-moving targets lol

One day we will work on something maybe two Tactical Investor meetings or possibly three. One in North America, one In Europe and one in Asia. For now, we have this online watering hole.

Hahaha, I once went mushroom hunting in the forests of Ukraine. I could never have imagined that Mosquitoes of that size existed. I am sure that if they had full access to my body I would have been drained. Luckily, the weather was cool so I went into the forest as If I was going into a war zone. However, we could barely find any mushrooms and we were embarrassed to return to my friend's house and tell his family well you know after several hours all we found were 20 pathetic mushrooms. We stumbled upon this guy living in the forest and we asked him if he had mushrooms. He stated he had two big bags to sell and boy were they big we bought both of them but he had one more condition that we had to try his homemade самогон (MoonShine). We thought what the hell let's try one or two shots. We took one shot each, it was pretty smooth so we decided to have a few more. We opened our backpack we had lots of cheese and колбаски (they are cured sausages, damn tasty) and we also had something called hunter sausages. So we continued to drink. On the third short, I remember feeling like I was floating and after that well it was all a blur. According to my friend's family, we came back smashed but were lugging two massive bags of mushrooms. The moral of the story be careful when it comes to moonshine, for you will surely shine, the question is on which planet or plane.

As for Borscht that can be great with very heavy Сметана (sour cream).
