The environmental impact has prompted Sweden to call for a Europe-wide ban on all crypto mining.
@MineralsNinja:

For me, these are the key points on which to focus from the propaganda article you posted. Free market forces will continue to force crypto. miners to go to where they are best treated - the recent CCP ban, as one example, led to a mass migration of crypto. miners to the U.S.S.A., and this trend looks like it will continue.

So the U.S.S.A. will continue to consolidate and increase its "hashrate" crypto. mining dominance.

It's all happening a bit quicker than I expected. I didn't think the U.S.S.A. would let the CCP have control over most of the global crypto. mining, and DeepState did not disappoint.
A new Crypto haven will appear out of nowhere be on standby for incredibly strange happenings starting from now and going for the next 60 months.

The Republic of the Marshall Islands, a tiny island state near the equator in the Pacific Ocean, has formally recognized decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) as legal entities — potentially opening the door to new registrations from projects all over the world. DAOs were granted legal recognition in the recently amended Non-Profit Entities Act 2021 and new incorporations will be supported by MIDAO Directory Services Inc., a domestic organization that was established to help projects get set up. It’s clear that the Marshall Islands is looking to become a global hub for DAO registration and is actively marketing its low service fees and supportive government.

I try to search an approximation of the production cost of uranium, in the western world. I found this document from 2016. On page 2, we can see the production cost of 47,41$ per pound, in the US in 2016 !!!!
With the rise of the energy prices and inflation, the actual real production cost must be well above this figure.
In the last days, they have pulled down the spot price below the 50$. In such conditions, dare I say that uranium is becoming a screaming buy ?

If one is looking to fine tune entry points, it seems that there might be a bit more of consolidating action before a long term bottom is in, based on the Monthly charts. Daily's look good for a short term trade. I have a exposure to the sector but will only take big bites when the Monthly charts trading deeper in the oversold territory

Always good to accumulate carefully but uranium is in a long-term bullish cycle, barring a Black Swan. I've got a significant position in URNM that I Spin the Wheel on, but I also add to the position outright on significant pullbacks by buying shares. Nice dividend, too, for DRIPing.

Took a break from real work. Checked URNM's charts. 69 looks auspicious. On the monthly it dropped below Bollinger B mid-point, broke back above and retesting support at 69. Weekly gives 66 as support but daily showing a convergence around 69 (50- and 200-day MAs and lower BB).

Hmm soixante neuf - very auspicious indeed.

Now back to repairing sunroom windows.

What do we think of FUUFF, is this move done or consolidating for another leg up as more investors become aware of their recent uranium discovery?
(note They recently changed their name and symbol from FISOF to FUUFF)

https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=FUUFF

Kelowna, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - December 22, 2022) - Fission 3.0 Corp (TSV: FUU) (OTCQB: FISOF)("Fission 3" or "the Company") is pleased to announce it has received uranium assay results from the discovery hole PLN22-035 at Patterson Lake North ("PLN") where off-scale radioactivity was previously reported (see Press Release Nov 21, 2022). The rushed analysis returned one continuous 15.0 m interval averaging 6.97% U3O8 including a high-grade 5.5 m interval averaging 18.6% U3O8, which further includes an ultra-high-grade core which assayed 59.2% over 1.0 m. PLN22-035 was the first of three mineralized holes completed on line 00N, in addition to a fourth mineralized hole on line 015S.

The play is interesting, and the quality of the find is exceptional. However, speculators may soon begin to sell, believing that the upside potential has been exhausted. This could provide a buying opportunity for risk-takers. Unless circumstances change, entry points in the 13-15 and 18-20 range could be good starting points. Always invest equal amounts and never overcommit to any one position. Lastly, never invest all of your funds in a single investment at once
