You can use this section to introduce yourself such as how long you have been trading, how you get into stocks, your experience with the stock market to date, etc.

47 y.o. fairly well-preserved male, investing/trading x >15 years; mostly a HODLer, wasted tens of thousands of loonies (currently residing in Canada) cumulatively over the initial part of that period on various financial newsletters with really nice graphs and authors with a lot of capital letters after their names, who helped me lose money quickly every year;

-started doing a lot better in the last seven years or so after learning to think for myself instead of trying desperately to find a magical "System" that would yield riches if I followed it blindly; came across Sol's work and a few select others the last few years that have further refined my thinking, both in the financial and non-financial worlds;

-these days, I approach investing as being similar to farming: you plant some crops, give them time to grow, and harvest a bit here and there; sometimes the weather changes quickly and locusts come;
Buy Fear, Sell Euphoria. The Neonatal Calf undergoes an agonizing birthing, while the Bear falls into hibernation.

Hello everyone,

29, male, work in healthcare as a provider
2018 is when I started to be more interested in investing/trading.

I have a deep understanding of trading options and various strategies of options, I was profitable however I also made my broker rich which is never good 😂

I found SOLs work in 2019, and it took a while for me to change my perception on the markets, however luckily in early 2020 I capitalized on the updates and made out like a bandit during the sell off in March

Im also into spirituality, and find SOLs work very refreshing. I’m big into reality transurfing and manifestation.

My system is essentially patience and discipline. One portfolio is just an ETF portfolio and ride the mega trend no matter what
Another is all options however with time premium of 9 months or more, sell at 100-150 percent profit and cut the option if the time premium is less than 5 months

What’s my goal?
Financial freedom. I live below my means and take no debt.

Looking forward to seeing all of us grow together 😎

Hello Sol, hello comrades investors, I am a young man of 61, I still work in the warehouse of a great american factory in Belgium. My first experience in stockmarket was in the beginning of the nineties, I bought VW stocks and a few years later, I sold them with gains to the notarys office to pay the notary costs of my first house. At this time, the stocks were not virtual or electronics, it was like little banknotes. I found it cool, my first experience was profitable. In the years 2000, after some loss with gold mines, I fell by accident on tacticalinvestor. immediatily I found it very interesting, a little bit underground, not common, and it was in english, and I wanted pratice the english language. And I learned some expressions like screaming buy, un achat criant. It was for palladium. And I can guarantee that when Sol says sreaming buy for something, this something will fly to the sky in the future. I experienced it for palladium, I bought lingots at 200$, I bought Stillwater stocks, Pall stocks, I made good gains with these two stocks and I forgot my bullions in my storage armoire till last year. I sold them for 1800$. nearly 1000% gains. My wife was very happy....

This is a great story and we salute this investor for his tenacity on learning english. I can state that his english has improved by 1000% since he joined. It is individuals like you that have made the Tactical Investor community great.

Cheers on your great gains, Don't forget to pat yourself on the back. At most we are responsible for 50%, maybe less for those gains. The rest is all you, it takes patience and discipline to hit the home runs

Age is just a number, if you think you are young, you are young and vice versa. In a small village in vilcabamba, ecudaor I saw 80 year olds living it up, playing soccer etc. It was truly a sight to behold

I confess that I not always follow your sell recommendations. For example, I was involved in AXU, I didnt sell it when

you recommended it. I sold it some weeks ago for 3$. On the other hand, I always follow your buy recommendations.

And certainly your screaming buy !!!!!!!

Male, retire accountant, age 73 investing poorly for 30 years. Sol has taught me patience, wait for the best buy, no matter how good the investment - build your position in small steps.
The best return so far by % is Jan 2022 DIA @ $340, I waited for a dip and bought the call options at a good price and now I am sitting up 52% in 3 weeks. The other good find by doing lots of research are the ETF products actively managed by ARK Invest. All their trades are published daily after the market closes. Their ETFs look for new ventures/technology that will disrupt the current leaders in each industry and they look at the global picture as to how all in intertwined.

I should also mention I found TI from searching Stock Gumshoe. Later got introduced to Options and it is there that I have had great success with AAPL and DIA.

That is called adapating the system to suit your needs and there is nothing wrong with that. The main thing is to find your sweet spot, something that works for you and something that does raise your levels of stress

I resonate very much with what Yodean said. Spent a few years looking for that magical system which can provide stellar returns without any effort lol. I started reading different blogs and books, landed on stockgumshoe.com and the weekly articles by Travis got me inspired, there I got introduced to Tactical Investor and also Brad Castro's option trading. I think both of these are pretty solid services. The content provided by Tactical Investor is interesting and so far has been very educational for me. Leveraging the recommendations from the Trend Portfolio I have invested in some of the positions from September 2020. Still have a lot to learn. Pretty sure that I'll be using this forum and asking a lot of questions. Btw I am a male from Connecticut.

Male 59 years old. Entrepreneur and own 3 businesses. I always just added a little to my IRA and let it sit in ETFs. As an engineer and very pragmatic, read the advice of John Vogel who founded Vanguard in the little red book of investing (which is the same as Buffet) - Just buy and hold the broad market in an Index fund). The claim was individual stock pickers *think* they can beat the broad spectrum market but science can demonstrate they cannot. So that's what I did.

With the March dip and approaching retirement in a few years.. I was frustrated with the losses but fortunately I left my money in the market (what are you going to do with retirement funds). When the market came back in early June I sold EVERYTHING that was in the index funds and sat in cash. A friend recommended OILK, which I bought a big chunk of and lost $16K over night. Then looked around and said "now what? When do I get back in"? I started reading, got an ad for some newsletter and went looking for reviews. Which were just OK. But came across stock gumshoe and tactical investor had good reviews. Started slowly in July putting in limit orders for ETFs (none of which executed for a while) and over the course of July and August gained courage to not only buy EFT, but Trend, Mod_Hi, AI, and even bonus plays. I'm up about 7% on the whole portfolio which is remarkable when you consider less than half of it currently invested (that is essentially a 24.32% APR). So I'm over the moon happy. I'm having to fight urges to think I could survive as a trader. :-) As an atheist, skeptic, scientist, and engineer I remain somewhat reserved about the discussions about frequencies and 4th level thinking, but so far can't argue with the results.
Current atmospheric levels of CO2 (400ppm) are much lower than 500 million years ago (3000-9000ppm).

Male 41 from Singapore. I run a small IT company. Funny thing is I basically did the same thing as mokes. Stumbled upon stockgumshoe, signed up for Brad Castro’s option trading which by the way, has already paid for itself and then found tactical investor.

I had been trading options for past 9 years. Made a small profit, nothing fantastic. Wondered whether I should go into dividend growth investing instead, tried looking for a reliable service on stockgumshoe but couldn’t resist the many good reviews of tactical investor and signed up just this month. Haven’t invested anything yet based on TI recommendations as I’m still trying to digest the info.

Typical story, looked for Gurus to guide me instead of making money i lost. Then i changed my tactic, studied some TA, results improved. While doing a search for top newsletters I stumbled upon TI and it was the best thing that happened to me. I have made a killing from the options service. I generally sell half when the option is up 100% and then ride the rest as I am using house money. My biggest win so far was the FCX options where i banked almost 600% in gains.

What I admire about this service more than the anything is the way Sol and crew are able to keep calm despite all the chaos, the way they handled the COVID situation was remarkable. The second aspect I like is that they don't have a bias, information is presented in a logical manner and then we get to decide how to use it. Lastly the psychological analysis is absolutely mind blowing

I will remain a life long subscriber

One is chance, two is coincidence, three is a pattern...

I got bit in the ass by a $3,000/yr Motley Fool service that ended up costing me a lot more than the subscription fee. I found stockgumshoe when looking for investment newsletter reviews & ratings. TI is by far the best ranked service on stockgumshoe using a number-of-reviews weighted basis. Brad Castro's service is probably the second highest rated with the same weighted basis.

I signed up for the TI-MU service and stayed on the monthly plan for over a year (I was shy about shelling out hundreds of dollars for a "premium" newsletter if it was going to be another turd like the Motley Fool service). I also signed up for Brad Castro's free newsletters at the same time.

I've been with TI for just over 2 years now and I joined Brad Castro's service last month.
