Real power comes within, keeping that childlike spirit with wisdom. Tear up the markets like Alexander the Great
Haha you guys are much too kind
I consider SOL like Marcus Aurelius, stoic with leadership. The results on the MU articles speak for themselves

Just curious as to why you decided to give Sol the title of Emperor Palpatine, as I understand he wanted to destroy everything. Just pure curiosity that's all

A few disclaimers, lol: in my personal Star Wars worldview, only Episodes 4 - 6 (i.e. the original three movies), & Rogue One, constitute the Star Wars "sacred canon." The rest is garbage, imo, or as Sol might say, like "toilet paper, good for one swipe."George1010 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 5:06 pmJust curious as to why you decided to give Sol the title of Emperor Palpatine, as I understand he wanted to destroy everything. The Force = herd psychology, understanding of market patterns/forces, etc.
Dark-Side Force = indiscriminate and overuse of high-risk, advanced options' and futures' strategies, like "Strangle," to quickly accumulate large amounts of wealth in the markets; powerful, fast, seductive, addictive, etc.
Light-Side Force = applying inordinate amounts of discipline and patience in slowly building equity positions based on a deep understanding of herd psychology, mass sentiment, and trend analysis; also intelligently taking profits, applying reasonable asset allocation strategies for defense, etc.
So, if you kinda accept my narrative and Star Wars canon above, Sol = Emperor Palpatine for the following reasons:
(1) Palpatine was by far the strongest, overall, in the use of the Force, both Light and Dark;
-he was extremely patient and disciplined in building up the Imperial military forces, as well as his own base of political power;
-he was basically kicking Luke's ass to Kingdom Come in _Return of the Jedi_ before Darth Vader stepped in and essentially stabbed him in the back (not very honourable, imo); one-on-one in a fair fight, Emperor Palpatine would have "dummied" both Skywalkers with ease;
(2) You mentioned in your post that your understanding of Emperor Palpatine is that he "wanted to destroy everything."
You are more right than you possibly realize.
-Emperor Sol wants to "destroy everything" as well, indeed; except, Sol's "everything" = all the layers of external and internal false/arbitrary programming imposed on all of us in various ways since infancy by mainstream conceptions of religion, government, family, romantic love, marriage, deference to external authority, etc.
(3) Emperor Palpatine is regarded by the herd as symbolic of evil . . . but according to Mass Psychology tenets, the herd is almost always wrong.
So . . . by comparing Sol to Emperor Palpatine, it may stimulate one to consider, "What really is the nature of Evil, what is Good, really?"
Is what we currently consider Good or Evil "real," or are they simply herd conceptions programmed into us by our Overlords to control us better?
Lucifer is generally viewed by the herd as the personification of Evil Incarnate. But to a very small minority, he is the ultimate archetype of the Rebel Hero, the singular figure who fights an unwinnable battle against overwhelming odds in the form of the established Order.
Muhahahahhahahahahhahahah ...

Happy December 25th.
