@stefk: thanks, nice charts . . . I don't trade the Australian markets, but it's good to know some of the miners have pulled back a bit. Gonna let my uranium puppies run until they grow into big wolves . . .
Overall Uranium from a long term cycle looks good, but when things start to look too good things can happen. For some reason when things look extremely bullish something comes along to ruin the party. Remember Peak oil theory and the oil so-called oil shortage everyone was pushing years ago.
When the words short term appear under any post; the same conditions listed in the Market update under the short term category apply
The end is always near; its the beginning and how you live each moment that counts the most
CNBC and other financial terrorist news are bullish on energy, oil and uranium
That’s a strong sell signal if I ever see one and it’s great comedy to watch these fools. Very valuable information for a trader
Long term, if you got in when the uranium market was unknown to the masses then just relax and add to positions when the market pulls back or consolidates.
Oil was the most hated asset in 2020 and now it’s the honey attracting all these bees
What’s the most hated now? Tech and the dollar. These CNBC hosts talking about inflation and supply issues where it’s really a fake narrative
Definitely, thanks for the input. Among the most hated or ignored asset classes right now, besides USD and Tech, seem to include gold and U.S. bonds. As well as Chinese Tech. - anything Chinese, really.
The question for me, as always, is timing and specific execution.
I'll probably apply some mental trailing stops to take some profits over the next several months while maintaining a core allocation in the uranium sector. It's been a really nice run.
Current game plan for me will also include taking a hard look at all my assets in the mid-Dec. 2021 through early Jan. 2022 time frame with a view towards selling to increase cash allocation. Until then I am cautiously bullish, overall, on equities.

This might set up some sort of military confrontation in Eastern Ukraine between NATO and Putin later this month.

Russia has the strongest military in Europe. Without US aid, no European country can deal with Russia
Russian soil lies partly in Europe (East) and also in Asia (Northern). It was an advantage for Russia. Red Bear country, Russia, is the largest country in the world. Its territory covers an eighth of the Earth’s land area, population density and population number 9 in the world.
Strategic geographical location, the number of active personnel are numerous and well-trained, as well as upgrade weaponry on edge, creating the Russian military as the strongest in Europe and Asia-Pacific, as well as one of the best in the world. Beyond that, the key to the military power of Russia is on the availability of nuclear weapons, which can only be rivaledthe United States (US).
A study reveals, with a fighting force that possessedRussia at this time, if they would, then in just 3 days, the Russian military will occupy the three countries in the Baltic region, members of NATO at the eastern border of Europe (Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia), without significant resistance. Even if the US strengthen the region adding troops and heavy artillery such as tanks, then the costs are quite fantastic to measure the concentration of the border a year, which is about 2.7 billion US dollars.
In the world war 3 power list, Russia perched in 2nd place in the World’s Strongest Military 7, the position of unity to the 10 Military Strongest in Asia-Pacific, and in first place in 8 Military Strongest in Europe.
I would have to concur that Russia is the top dog in Europe, Based on the Rand study there is no effective deterrent in Europe
The current NATO force structure in Eastern Europe would be unable to withstand a Russian invasion into neighboring Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, a new think tank study has concluded.
After conducting an exhaustive series of wargames wherein “red” (Russian) and “blue” (NATO) forces engaged in a wide range of war scenarios over the Baltic states, a Rand Corporation study called “Reinforcing Deterrence on NATO’s Eastern Flank” determined that a successful NATO defense of the region would require a much larger air-ground force than what is currently deployed.
In particular, the study calls for a NATO strategy similar to the Cold War era’s “AirLand Battle” doctrine from the 1980s. During this time, the U.S. Army stationed at least several hundred thousand troops in Europe as a strategy to deter a potential Russian invasion. Officials with U.S. Army Europe tell Scout Warrior that there are currenty 30,000 U.S. Army soldiers in Europe.
The Rand study maintains that, without a deterrent the size of at least seven brigades, fires and air support protecting Eastern Europe, that Russia cold overrun the Baltic states as quickly as in 60 hours.
“As currently postured, NATO cannot successfully defend the territory of its most exposed members. Across multiple games using a wide range of expert participants in and out of uniform playing both sides, the longest it has taken Russian forces to reach the outskirts of the Estonian and/or Latvian capitals of Tallinn and Riga, respectively, is 60 hours. Such a rapid defeat would leave NATO with a limited number of options,” the study writes.“AirLand” Battle was a strategic warfighting concept followed by U.S. and allied forces during the Cold War which, among other things, relied upon precise coordination between a large maneuvering mechanized ground force and attack aircraft overhead. As part of the approach, air attacks would seek to weaken enemy assets supporting front line enemy troops by bombing supply elements in the rear. As part of the air-ground integration, large conventional ground forces could then more easily advance through defended enemy front line areas.
A rapid assault on the Baltic region would leave NATO with few attractive options, including a massive risky counterattack, threatening a nuclear weapons option or simply allowing the Russian to annex the countries.
Crypto miners blamed for Kazakhstan energy crisis
Over 87,849 mining rigs have moved from China to Kazakhstan

Crypto miners blamed for Kazakhstan energy crisis
What just happened? China’s clampdown on cryptocurrency mining has impacted more than just the Asian nation. Cryptocurrency miners in Kazakhstan, many of whom came over from China, have caused a power crisis in the country, prompting its electrical grid operator to start rationing electricity.
The Financial Times reports that demand for electricity in Kazakhstan has risen around eight percent this year, much more than its usual average growth rate of one to two percent. The surge has led to power shortages, blackouts in six regions of the country since October, and shutdowns at three power plants.
Electrical grid operator KEGOC has now announced that it will be rationing electricity to 50 registered crypto miners. They will also be the first disconnected in the event of grid failures.
Kazakh officials say much of the increased power usage is the fault of “gray miners,” unregistered crypto miners that operate from home or from factories. It’s estimated that they are behind the consumption of 1200 megawatts (MW) of power from the country’s power grid.
Starting next year, registered miners will be charged a compensation fee of 1 tenge (about $0.0023) to help with the situation and identify illegal miners. Kazakhstan is also looking at nuclear power as a way of meeting electricity demands, and has asked Russian energy company Inter RAO to contribute to the country’s national power grid.
Coindesk reports that Crypto mining company Xive shut down a 2,500-rig mine in South Kazakhstan recently due to a lack of sufficient energy supply. “It is clear that mining in south Kazakhstan is not possible anymore,” co-founder Didar Bekbau told the publication.
The Times estimates that over 87,849 “power-intensive” mining rigs moved from China to Kazakhstan following the former’s crackdown on mining and its declaration that all crypto transactions are illegal. However, some argue that miners are being made scapegoats for problems with the Kazakhstan’s electricity grid.
Somewhere else that has seen an influx of crypto miners from China is Sweden. The energy consumption of Bitcoin mining in the Scandinavian country went up by several hundred percent between April and August. The environmental impact has prompted Sweden to call for a Europe-wide ban on all crypto mining.

@MineralsNinja:
For me, these are the key points on which to focus from the propaganda article you posted. Free market forces will continue to force crypto. miners to go to where they are best treated - the recent CCP ban, as one example, led to a mass migration of crypto. miners to the U.S.S.A., and this trend looks like it will continue.
So the U.S.S.A. will continue to consolidate and increase its "hashrate" crypto. mining dominance.
It's all happening a bit quicker than I expected. I didn't think the U.S.S.A. would let the CCP have control over most of the global crypto. mining, and DeepState did not disappoint.

Things are hotting up:
The players: Liz Truss (UK Foreign Secretary) & Maria Zakharova (Russia’s foreign ministry spokesperson)
Liz Truss: "We are supplying and offering extra support into our Baltic allies across the Black Sea"
Maria Zakharova: “The Baltic countries are called so because they are located precisely off the coast of this [Baltic] sea. Not the Black [Sea],” the Russian official wrote on Facebook. “If anyone needs to be saved from anything, then it is the world from the stupidity and ignorance of Anglo-Saxon politicians.”
Ouch.

If Russia wins this game and there the odds are 90% they will win, then it will mark a turning stone for US dominance, they are losing Asia, they lost middle-east and now they will lose many parts of the caucaus. World leaders are starting to take note of Russia's resurgence.
Putin will be able to hit on two fronts. He will have an excuse to shut down gas to Europe if there is a war using it as an excuse to say he can't supply it as they are against him,, Even better he can send special forces to blow up parts of the pipe line in Ukraine and force them to approve Nord stream.
