Re: daomaker intro. ICO access.
DAOs, my personal opinion is to stay away from these. They are getting hot nowadays due to the crazy APR/APY but they are setup in ways to seriously scam money most of the time. Most of them are Ponzi schemes. Even the non Ponzi schemes look scammy especially when you are staring at a bunch of millennials who simply think they are “extremely smart” and “connected” to invest in DAOs and voting on “important” issues with a click.
For example,
[Invest 3M USD of our treasury into this wonderful resort to generate 400% APR] Yes/No
“Wow, I feel so powerful and smart now. I have the right to vote on this issue. My vote matters. 400% APR! I’m 399% smarter than regular folks who put their money in banks.”
That’s the problem with DAOs! Your vote matters, let’s all make the decision together! But what they aren’t telling us is that wonderful resort is on the verge of failing. DAOs allow a few in power to force feed trash down the throats of the majority and still make the majority feel wonderful about it. Looking through the lens of MP as taught by Sol, DAOs are just perfect tools to prey on the mass.

the opposite fallacy to youthful arrogance and stupidity fueled by novel technology
is curmudgeonly recalcitrance and jealousy
dont let either stop you from actually investigating something
