I've never done anything like this before because I'm sooo anti-lawyer but today I actually joined the new class action lawsuit against zillow. I realize it won't do much and I'm philosophically opposed to law suits in general but I really feel like there was some incompetence and arrogance that led to this down turnYodean wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 10:40 pm@YoungAnakin:Triplethought wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 12:48 am I also have been slaughtered by quadrupling down on Zillow (A play of my own recognizance).
A financial advisor whom quite a few of us here also follow just publicly declared that he thinks Zillow may hit $25 in 2022 at some point ... lol, and I thought I was bearish on Zillow.

Current atmospheric levels of CO2 (400ppm) are much lower than 500 million years ago (3000-9000ppm).

Monthly chart of Zillow

It is hard to envision Zillow at 25, but not impossible. Hard because it has already shed a ton of weight and the indicators are moving to the oversold ranges. As long as it does not close below 51 on a monthly basis, the outlook will remain neutral. To turn bullish it would have to close above 75 on a monthly basis.

Zillow is a prime example of greed, house flipping is very time consuming process and they failed miserably

Yeh, I was just messing with TT a bit. I vaguely remember there was a thread about Zillow when it was trading in the 90s, and I said it might drop to the 60s or so since the neckline (@ around 130 on the weeklies) of a head-and-shoulders formation had broken to the downside at that point.SOL wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 8:04 am It is hard to envision Zillow at 25, but not impossible. When you follow what others have done you run the risk of catching a falling dagger. Remember it was successful but you are getting in late so odds are against you. Also following individuals that claim to be experts is another recipe for disaster. At the time Zillow was mentioned it was trading in the extremely overbought ranges on the monthly charts. At the very least one should check what a stock is doing on the monthly charts. From a risk to reward perspective if it is trading in the overbought ranges it's best to wait for a more opportune moment to get in.Yodean wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 3:12 pmYeh, I was just messing with TT a bit. very repeatable trend. when i'm actually satisfied with where my portfolio is, it usually wont go up much higher. when i'm genuinely a bit sad where it is, thats usually the bottom.
starting to think i may just sell happy and buy sad

Nothing like a little bit of a bloodbath in the markets to flush out the weak hands before an 'Xmas rally, methinks.

No worries. Up 2% at the open. It's a mental game. Be aware it can eat at you if you let it, but it can and will turn on a dime. I've been beaten many times over 40 plus years but can still say it was worth it.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/super-ri ... 10271.htmlStill, rich Americans have been in a hurry to complete transactions before the end of the year, trying to lock in the current rates and enjoy loopholes while they still can. U.S. billionaires, for example, were selling stock at more than twice the rate as last year, ensuring those sales weren’t subject to the proposed surtax, a 5% levy on incomes over $10 million and an additional 3% tax on those above $25 million, slated to go into effect in 2022.
I suspect a lot of the selling was to do with the above and then we have the fear the media is trying to instill via omicron. To me this all means that long term an opportunity is in the making
