Yesterday I documented about fulvic acid. The plants seem to like it. They use it in the hydroponics. There is an hydroponics store not far from me, next week I will go there to see if they sell fulvic acid. I will try it next year.

Guns
Hmmm, although I am a supporter of the 2nd Amendment, more or less, I seriously question the wisdom of encouraging your significant other to become proficient in the use of firearms, and providing such ready access to such in your domicile.
I mean, what happens if there is a spirited debate about whose turn it is to take out the garbage? You are either a very brave man, or you like to live dangerously.
I get nervous enough when my wife is chopping vegetables in the kitchen and we start arguing about something. She's not a particularly good cook, but she's not bad with a knife . . .
In all seriousness, there are restrictive gun laws in Canada, so I settle for a poor substitute:

I’m pro gun and was one of the many reasons I left New York.
At least now if someone tries to rob or harm me I can easily scare or warn them.
Imho, every citizen should have access and be well trained with one. Relying on a useless police force is laughable at this day and age

Your move out of NY was decidedly fast. So if you don't mind me asking which state did you move to? And how are you settling inAstuteShift wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 1:15 am I’m pro gun and was one of the many reasons I left New York.

I went to Florida, settling in the Tampa Bay region. The state has more freedom at least lol, for the time being.SOL wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 5:47 amYour move out of NY was decidedly fast. Honestly I’m a little flustered but that will settle, I’m somewhat excited that I did this lol, it’s like a new adventure. However anything is better than New York, it’s turning into a gulag now
I got my bosnia passport, so if any anti freedom shenanigans come up then I’m out

If you did not buy a place, you can always try Austin texas and the suburbs around it, lots of cool stuff going in Austin and as someone in the medical field it should be relatively easy for you to land a job.AstuteShift wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 12:22 pmI went to Florida, settling in the Tampa Bay region. It's normal to experience some nervousness but that will settle. View it as one big adventure. I suspect if you leave the US it will probably be for good. Then the option of giving up your green card or citizenship will be one thing to consider as the tax benefits are huge. Sadly the US is one of the best tax havens in the world but to benefit from this you have to be a Non-Citizen.

I haven’t bought any property however I helped my father paid off his mortgage. Currently building their retirement and they’re sitting handsomely
Personally I’m not into the debt mortgages lol. I have my own apartment in Bosnia, so I’m set there
In terms of leaving USA, I’m just setting myself up now and will pull the trigger. I have no emotional attachment to this country or location. However I’m ruthless against those individuals who want to remove my peace and freedom.
The job I have now is a tele health gig, pays less but the bonus side is sweet if I wanted to pick up more shifts. The freedom to be anywhere though was very attractive to me.
I felt so good to leave, over here there is some good fishing places. Very relaxing and peaceful activity, I just have to be mindful of the crocodiles lol

Re: investing in ground and nature.....
Here is an exemple of my last raised bed, I finished it some days ago. Its the first time I do it with cobbles, and without digging a trench in the ground . My neighbour had renovated his entry pathway, and wanted to get rid of the old cobbles. He gave me these cobbles, I immediately knew what to do with it, he is happy to get rid, and I am happy, its the pure philosophy of permaculture, doing with what you have on hand.

I filled this container with deadwoods on the bottom, and hedges residues, grass and kitchen wastes. Next year, it will become a good fertile soil, for aromatics and beeflowers, and beautiful vegetables. I will share a pic next year in summer.

Astute, you could stay in Florida and create a permaculture garden, with a pond full with alligators !!!!!!
Alligators in place of salamanders, it could be fun.

Crocodiles are very intelligent animals, especially when raised young however they’re to be respected since they still have raw power and carnage when provoked lol
I just went fishing in the morning and felt so liberated. It’s so priceless

Congrats on the move! The Big Apple must have really pissed you off to get a stubborn Taurus Sun/Moon Scorpio to take such drastic action, lmao. Tele- and A.I. - health is in a primary degree bull trend, to my eyes - good to get involved early.AstuteShift wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 12:22 pm I went to Florida, settling in the Tampa Bay region. It's funny, one of my best friends who is currently working in Kiev (for the U.S. Fed in Patent Law, real DeepState stuff, lol) bought property in Miami earlier this year and officially switched his tax residence from Pennsylvania to Florida.
Seems like a lot of people are doing some version of this, i.e. move from Blue states to Texas or Florida.

The city is done for a long time unfortunately. The ultimate reason is the cancel culture aspect and idiotic policiesYodean wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 9:22 pmCongrats on the move! Sure, there is still great people in the city but they’re trapped in a cage and have to hide in the corners.
The reason I stayed that long was due to not having enough capital, now I have enough and don’t have to work as long and hard as before.
The move is also a nice fresh start, new beginning and saying goodbye to slavery. The trend to leave was too strong and I can’t ignore it

You put the stones to good use. The garden looks very cool. Reminds, me of several gardens in Ukraine. Many individuals have a home and a Dacha (summer home). In the Dacha, they grow veggies, fruits and after the garden work is done they usually have a barbecue and booze. Their Shaslick is incrediblestefk wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 2:29 pmHere is an exemple of my last raised bed, I finished it some days ago. With the extra soil, you place organic matter (as much as you can find, leaves, grasses, other stuff) and then pile the mud ontop creating a mound. In time the two will mix and you will get a lovely layer of new top soil that you can use
