It has a multitude of functions. I know of many individuals that were very weak after being sick for a prolonged period that took Mumio and within days they felt better. I have used it for endurance training and as a general supplement. I discovered this while I was in a small town in Ukraine. At that time I was testing Rhodiola and this lady at the pharmacy told me I should try Mumio, as they say, the rest is historyYodean wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 7:52 pm@Sol: damn, this Shilajit stuff is pretty powerful. Been taking it for almost a week now. An hour or so after the first dose, I was filled with aggressive energy. Wanted to put a hole through the wall with my fist.Yodean wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 1:35 pm
Alright Sol . . . just took my 1st dose of Mumijo/Shilajit about an hour ago.

Had to stop taking my regular adaptogen stack (rhodiola rosea, eleutherococcus senticosus, schizandra chinensis) - was time to cycle off these adaptogens for a bit, anyhow.
Shilajit's beneficial effects on muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance tentatively confirmed, both objectively (training parameters) and subjectively.
Also experienced unexpected, mild "Viagra" effect! Goes to show you, not all side effects of supplements are negative, lmao.
Need to do further research on this supplement.
Expect attenuation of beneficial effects over time.
Anybody else tried shilajit?
I found over time that these strange supplements that are not widely known or hyped tend to perform the best.
One of the main reasons I like Mumio is for its Anti-inflammatory and Energy boosting response. I focus on supplements that can either provide more Juice to the Mitochondria or lead to mitochondria biogenesis (PQQ and MB). So when I discovered that Mumio could help with inflammation and boost one's energy I decided to give it a shot. In this same place, I discovered ATP injections, Solcoserly and cerebrolysin

Other effects of Cerebrolysin include “increased synaptic regeneration, enhanced neurogenesis, decreased apoptosis, increased dendritic spine density and dendritic length as well as antioxidative and anti-inflammatory effects” (Source).
And just like intermittent fasting and aerobic exercise, Cerebrolysin can also increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) production… which directly leads to the increased brain plasticity needed for faster learning and better memory retention.
