Lol, even the CDC has to "CYA" a bit. Lots of lawsuits ongoing, etc., more to come.

Unfortunately, as is always the case, much too late for most. The big money has been printed and is being printed and will continue to be printed, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The global herd has been pummeled into even more submission and continued slavery without its knowledge nor consent, and none of this will change, for the foreseeable future.
The big goal minus all the noise and emotion is to create disasters to justify the printing of more money. If you look at every disaster, what ensued? The money supply surged, so that is the end game and will always be. Whatever occurs in between is to create division and foster discord so the money printers can follow the primary which was to print more money.

@Centdude: as long as you take what is written in _The Economist_ seriously, and not simply as a sophisticated propaganda tool for the Establishment to control the herd of sheep, otherwise known as most of humanity, you will never be an independent thinker, and will always live in fear of what others think of you. You may be 77-years-old, but it is not too late. Stand up and be free.

I think I was listening to something online and wrote a quote on a scrap of paper so can't remember where it came from but it's a gem:

A very good, detailed video on vitamin D, it makes total sense in so many ways, for example, why dark coloured people are effected worse in the northern hemisphere, why Nigeria has a deaths per million of 12 with less than 1% vaccinated and the UK 1900 with around 70% vaccinated. Interesting that the UK government only mentioned vitamin D could help towards the end of 2020 just before the vaccine rollout which also coincided with the change in weather from winter to spring and summer and claimed it all on the rollout and suggesting that we may need a booster to cover themselves when deaths starting rising towards winter again but if it's not so bad can claim it's the vaccine as people will be taking the supplements (supermarket shelves were cleared after the announcement), win win situation. The video doesn't make all these connections but they are obvious conclusions.

The company I work for announced last week that employees must have a covid vaccination or they will be terminated. This was announced even before Biden's announcement. I am not vaccinated, and I prefer not to be.

Except for a once-a-year team meeting in person (which we haven't had in two years now), I work 100% from home. I'm in my 50s and am probably 6-10 years from retiring.

I feel like I'm the only one on our team who is not vaccinated; but the company is quite large, so I know there must be others who feel like I do.

My wife and daughter both decided to get vaccinated, and I'm fine with that. But I'm not fine with a company or the government deciding for me.

At this point, I don't know what to do. I don't usually stress about things, but this has me feeling really down. Options that have run through my head range from letting them fire me, moving to another country, or just getting the jab.

Thoughts or advice?

Jim, I cannot tell you the rage I have when I read cases like yours. I'm retired, so this is easy for me to say, but as your working from home, out of the direct contact, I'd just keep my head down, volunteer nothing, ignore direct questions/emails and resort to obfuscation. See how far that goes. You may delay till common sense prevails (pigs might fly) or there is some resolution in court.

If push comes to shove, tell the company to consult their legal dept as to Union Pacific Railway Co vs Botsford, 141 US 250 (1891). It set the basis of informed consent and enshrined the right of individuals to refuse medical treatment:

“No right is held more sacred or is more carefully guarded by the common law than the right of every individual to the possession and control of his own person, free from all restraint or interference of others unless by clear and unquestionable authority of law. As well said by Judge Cooley: “The right to one’s person may be said to be a right of complete immunity; to be let alone.” Cooley on Torts 29.”

“Every human being of adult years and sound mind has a right to determine what shall be done with his own body, and a surgeon who performs an operation without his patient’s consent commits an assault, for which he is liable in damages.”

You'll find more on it here:

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/inte ... o-consent/

It gives a refutation to the Jacobson 1905 smallpox case which may be used as the excuse for this diktat. Some more interesting info here:

https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=243475.

I pray that common sense does prevail.

On a practical level, as a delaying tactic that still keeps all your options open, pretend that you may have an allergy to PEG (most of the cv19 jabs have this as a component). You will likely be referred to an Allergist/Immunologist for definitive assessment, but all she can do is ask you what type of symptoms you had - at this point, there is no laboratory or objective test for a PEG allergy, so for medicolegal reasons, she has to believe you.

Depending on local recommendations, you may even be able to get a letter of medical exemption, at least temporarily.

Here's a post you may find of interest:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=148&p=4155&hilit=PEG#p4155

You may buy PEG anywhere, it looks like this:

The Un-Vaxxed Movement is stronger and more resilient than most expect. Look what happened in the U.K. recently. For now, do your best to buy some time . . .

As Yodean suggests that allergy route works quite well. I know two individuals who prefer not to be named that took this route even though they have no allergies per says. So far it seems to be working. They also both went out of their way to state they would use the mask, and take PCR tests whenever it was deemed necessary. In other words, they made it look like they were sorry they could not take the vaccine due to their allergies and would be willing to take additional measures so that their co-workers would be the same. The best game plan is to do your best to blend in.

Stories like this also set me on fire. some individuals due to their financial circumstances do not even have the option of thinking about quitting. Their only choice is to take the jab or starve.

Valneva is the only western company developing an inactivated virus vaccine against covid. Chinese vaccines Sinopharm and Sinovac are also using the inactivated virus technology. It's a more traditional type of vaccine. mRNA vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna) work by instructing some cells to produce the spike protein, and protein subunit vaccines, when they become available (Novavax and Sanofi are candidates), will directly inject the spike protein into the body.

Valneva's VLA2001 development was financially supported by a huge contract from the UK government. Now, the UK government has terminated the contract, which apparently they had the right to do, but without really giving a reason. They only claimed Valneva was in breach of the contract, which the company denies.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/valneva- ... 00419.html

So, is there more to the story? Will another government step in and contract with them? Or is any alternative to mRNA vaccines in the West just out of the question for the powers-that-be?

This may help answer the question. The French government has decided that French citizens who received, outside of the EU, two doses of a vaccine that is approved by the WHO (even if not approved by the EMA) may be eligible to receive the "Health Pass", 7 days after they receive a third shot with any of the mRNA vaccines approved by the EMA...

At least for now clinical trials continue for Valneva: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/valneva- ... 00320.html

Better to be vaccinated with an old school traditional chinese vaccine.

What would I do if I would be forced to be vaxed with an experimental vaccine? One thing I have imagined is a retreat in China, a qigong retreat.

https://www.weihaikungfuacademy.com/mission

You can learn in Weihaiacademy for one, two, three, five years. A two years retreat costs 10000 euros. It could be the opportunity of my life to do what I like. Of course, there would be some hurdles, my wife to convince, to leave my dogs, the long travel (I dont like the plane).

@nicolas: thanks, that is a nice, succinct summary of the current cv19-vax landscape; the JNJ vaccine is similar to the mRNA ones, except it uses an adenovirus vector to deliver a piece of DNA to the victim's cells to manufacture the spike protein, etc. - one slight, potential advantage is that it's one jab instead of two (not counting all the booster shot recommendations on their way); on a totally unrelated topic, what do you think about the Chinese Tech. Titans currently? I've been a somewhat careful buyer/accumulator of the CTTs (i.e. BABA, BIDU, TCEHY).

@stefk: agree that if it's the bullet or the jab, the Chinese ones may be potentially less harmful, since they are built more along the lines of a traditional vaccine, almost like the mostly useless but slightly harmful flu shots that existed pre-cv19; as for training in Qi Gong and Kung Fu in China, you may find the food difficult to bear, lol, and if you bring your dogs, you may have to keep an eye on them or they may "disappear," if you know what I mean . . .

I once heard the story of a family of tourists who walked into a restaurant, with their dog. They asked the waiter if it was possible to feed their dog. The waiter said it wasn't a problem and left with the dog. The family enjoyed their meal. Then it was time to leave, so they asked about their dog, and that's when they realized something important got lost in translation. The dog was fed, only to them. They flew straight home, traumatized.
(It's a second hand story from 15 years ago so take it with a grain of salt  )
