Off-topic, have you considered becoming a travelling nurse as you are young and healthy and open for adventure. One can earn a lot more by scaling back on some of the benefits and opting for a higher salary.
Hey Sol,
YY is a Physician Assistant (PA), which is very different from a nurse, i.e. RN (Registered Nurse) or RPN (Registered Practical Nurse).
PAs have much greater responsibility and independence in caring for patients than RNs or RPNs, and much more extensive medical training than nurses, as well as better salary.
Depending on the specifics of the PAs (they can specialize in different fields, like Cardiology - I believe this is YY's forte - or Nephrology, General Internal Medicine, etc.), they may give their own orders to nurses, write prescriptions, with some constraints, when taking care of patients.
Think of PAs like senior medical residents. They are becoming more and more utilized here in Canada, and most of the Western world, to my best knowledge.
In my previous incarnation, I worked closely with quite a few PAs from different specialties. Some are quite excellent, and better clinically than some of my dubious MD colleagues.
So if YY chooses to travel and work, he could probably find some clinical situations where he is working and paid like a MD.
But, tying this in to astrology (and I am putting this in here mostly to bug YoungAnakin, as for some unfathomable reason, I derive perverse enjoyment from doing this), YY is a Taurus Sun with Scorpio Moon, one of the most stubborn and willful Sun/Moon combinations out there. So he'll most likely talk a lot about leaving the Big Apple, but he won't do it, at least not for a very long time. But if and when he does leave NYC, it'll be forever.
You two chaps will likely get along quite well in the long-term because YY's Moon position is sitting on your Scorpio Sun.
