November 5th

Post by Budge »

An English verse from the early 17thC to celebration today's date. Unfortunately, the treasonous behavior we've witnessed the last few years is unlikely to be punished like that meted out to most of the plotters in 1605: hung, drawn and quartered.

The Fifth of November

Remember, remember!
The fifth of November,
The Gunpowder treason and plot;
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!
Guy Fawkes and his companions
Did the scheme contrive,
To blow the King and Parliament
All up alive.
Threescore barrels, laid below,
To prove old England's overthrow.
But, by God's providence, him they catch,
With a dark lantern, lighting a match!
A stick and a stake
For King James's sake!
If you won't give me one,
I'll take two,
The better for me,
And the worse for you.
A rope, a rope, to hang the Pope,
A penn'orth of cheese to choke him,
A pint of beer to wash it down,
And a jolly good fire to burn him.
Holloa, boys! holloa, boys! make the bells ring!
Holloa, boys! holloa boys! God save the King!
Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!

Pete/Etep, is that you?

Yeh, the Dems cheated, but that's part of the grand plan. This melt-up is quite spectacular.

The double surges in the GP index indicate that the action is not over. This is going to be challenged in court and like the Bush Gore election of 2000 could be decided by the supreme court. The supreme court decided in favour of Bush by halting the recount, in this instance they could simply state that many of the mail ballots were fake or something to that effect

Bush v. Gore, 531 U.S. 98 (2000), was a decision of the United States Supreme Court on December 12, 2000, that settled a recount dispute in Florida's 2000 presidential election between George W. Bush and Al Gore.

Earlier, on December 8, the Florida Supreme Court, by a vote of four to three, ordered a statewide recount of all undervotes, over 61,000 ballots that the vote tabulation machines had missed. The Bush campaign immediately asked the U.S. Supreme Court to stay the decision and halt the recount. Justice Antonin Scalia, convinced that all the manual recounts being performed in Florida's counties were illegitimate, urged his colleagues to grant the stay immediately.[1] On December 9, the five conservative justices on the Court granted the stay for Bush, with Scalia citing "irreparable harm" that could befall Bush, as the recounts would cast "a needless and unjustified cloud" over Bush's legitimacy. In dissent, Justice John Paul Stevens wrote that "counting every legally cast vote cannot constitute irreparable harm."[1] Oral arguments were scheduled for December 11

Maybe this is more appropriate for the tenor of the times?

"Out of the gosple he tho wordes caughte,
And this figure he added eek therto,
That if gold ruste, what shal iren do?
For if a preest be foul, on whom we truste,
No wonder is a lewed man to ruste"

Oh boy, that kinda stuff brings back bad memories of Grade 12 English Literature.

My version: Love him or hate him, Trump is a "Zombie-Cat." He's got nine lives, then you still have to cut the head off. The Don is still alive!

It’s interesting how MSM completely ignores the possibility of Trump still winning

The masses are oblivious and like clockwork, the Don will likely come with a sledge hammer and shatter the masses perception

Of course this will create the father of all buying opportunities and as trend players we have to back the truck up and kitchen sink into the market at that point 😄😄😄

Yodean, I think the refrain from a song I learned during my rugby playing days might be apropos. Rugby songs in general were rude, crude and not for polite society. I knew the song as "It was on the bridge at midnight". Some years later, I discovered it was a "knock off" of a 1930 Music Hall song by Billy Bennett called: "She was poor, but she was honest" - aka "It's the same the whole world over".

Fortunately, the refrain is okay. In the original it was:

It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Ain't it all a bloomin' shame?

The rugby version, which I think has a better cadence, was/is:

It's the same the whole world over
Ain't it all a bloody shame?
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
And the poor what gets the blame

Hardly up to the literary standards of my earlier Chaucer quote, but expresses a timeless universal truth.

It's not only the media using the assumption of a sale principle. This is bound for the SC where justice will prevail depending on how much money changes hands or who has the dirt on who. Chaos ensues.

Trump wins: Night of the Long Knives or I get my retaliation in first this time.
Biden prevails: Robespierre Redux

It's interesting how the right wing thinks they can overturn 3 to 4 state results needed for Trump to win, when their lawyers are admitting in court that they have no evidence of ballot tampering and their poll watcher are indeed in the room, thus getting their cases thrown out.'

Watching a grown child in the highest office throw a temper tantrum at not getting what it wants over the next couple months will be disturbing imo. Just hope it doesn't do much lasting damage on the way out.

It makes no difference who is in office since the central banks and the top players control the show

Most did not vote for Biden or his policies but rather out of spite for hating Trump and his behavior. I do agree his behavior is a sign of egotistical maniac.

Biden will likely not pass as much of his policies even if he does get elected, especially if the GOP wins the senate. The democrats also lost some seats in the house and Pelosi is to blame for acting like a corrupt poly tick she is.

The Dems will be fighting a nationalistic trend and all I say is good luck but then again the masses in general are in a coma and will probably not fight and let the banks rob them of everything they have.

Politicians are just poly ticks, they suck the blood out of the population and offer nothing but broken promises

Seeing the devastation of former Yugoslavia, how politics destroyed that nation in a early age, I’ve always despised politics and view it as just as worthless as sewage

Many of the masses in the west really are cuddled and have never faced hardship. They are in for a world of hurt later on regardless who wins since freedoms will be limited in the western countries

Be careful what you wish for, you might get the devil and all of its demons with no escape

Ahhhhhhhh, now I finally know why you are so wise beyond your years, Young Yoda.

Yeh, in my personal experience those who grow up under adverse circumstances, especially in war-torn countries, and come out of it the other side without too much residual damage usually turn out to be exceptional people.

Hmmm, maybe that explains why I am still quite immature, relatively speaking, at the tender age of forty-seven.
Had too much of a coddled childhood, despite being born in another country (Taiwan - yeh, I call it a country, no matter what the CCP says).

Up until sometime earlier this year, I believed Western governments, while dumb and "clunky," were basically good and wanted the best for its people. I also believed everything I heard and saw on CNN.

Boy, was I ever in for a rude awakening. I am learning as fast as I can. Time is short. At least my brain seems to be working fairly well, especially on copious amounts of coffee and coconut oil.

I go back and forth between cynical and hopeful in humanity, as I believe people have both sides to them, they want to be good, but self-dealing special interests corrupt the system as well.

Most people are lemmings, the main drivers of society have special interest, but there rare genuine good souls. Even the latter can be swayed by pressure though.

Treason never prospers, what's the reason?

For if Treason prospers, none dare call it Treason.
-FOMOing in is how the masses loose their asses.
-"forget bitcoin, focus on your balls......." -Stefk
-Misinformation: noun, information that is true and correct and might lead people towards freedom and autonomy instead of tyranny and slavery.

I’m grateful for always questioning and observing peoples behaviors and eventually stumbling into this small community 😁

It was very refreshing reading SOLs articles and it let a fire in me that I knew I had however difficult to actually find it, especially alone.

I was not a person in financial markets, however when I was 17 I knew how bad the FED was and how corrupt the bankers are. The only issue was I never thought I can take that knowledge and capitalize on it. My family is also religious and not found of the elite.

That all changed when I started working in healthcare and wanted to do a fun side job hobby. Now, I can see myself trading entirely and eventually leaving my occupation, however slowly but sure 😁
