uranium sector and mines
Sol has introduced the subject on another file, I think this sector deserves to have his own file.
Eveybody knows there is a new religion, the religion of global warming, with a new devil, the carbon. In this new religion, the carbon is the most dangerous poison for the life on our planet, it is the new axiom. No matter carbon is the main component of all life on earth ( maybe in the universe), carbon is the culpritt, no matter CO2 is not a greenhouse gas. OK, we dont go against this trend, it lets me think at Galileo and his words " E pur si muove".
Now, lets go embrace this new trend and let's make money with the uranium sector.
https://youtu.be/qp80SfObROE
This guy is the specialist of the sector. For him, uranium is the most asymetric investment. In the video, all is explained, the offer of uranium is more and more down and the demand is more and more up, and the price is wrong. Of course, without a black swan, we could make a lot of money with this sector.

“Fully permitted with a 2020 recent feasibility study (though all ISR restarts market themselves based on being permitted and able to respond quickly to a price recovery), Boss has backed its stated intentions of a restart with action, and is one of only three restart projects to complete an FS in the last three years, along with Paladin and Peninsula.”
Boss energy (BOE) is the first choice of sprott equity.

Thanks for sharing that video stefk. It's very interesting and certainly has me intrigued. Are there any particular companies you're looking at? It appears a number of uranium related companies have been doing very well since the end of last year.

VAL, valor resources, is one of the juniors selected by John.
https://www.valorresources.com.au/media ... mended.pdf
An australian junior, they have two uranium projects in Athabasca basin. The advantage, they are not far from the USA, the biggest market for uranium.

There are companies that are involved with the construction of innovative nuclear facilities that stand to benefit also, and we are looking at several candidates. The Current approach that most governments are embracing is not workable without Nuclear or some new energy break through. Solar panels, and wind mills are not going to achieve the job at hand, unless one believes in a miracle

Good read, interesting about Kazakhstan. It is the biggest producer in the world, 40% of world production. Recently they have cut 10% of production.
https://world-nuclear-news.org/Articles ... uts-into-2
They will extend cut production into 2022.

So, if we want to make money with the nuclear trend, Athabasca basin is the place to be. Uranium mineralisation is shallow and the grades are high.

Azincourt is a canadian junior, AAZ.V, they focus on East Preston project.

Good for you. One should feel free to adapt suggestions to meet their own needs. Make money but never forget that money is a tool, nothing more and nothing less. Money can't buy ya love. But it can definitely buy you sex

Current atmospheric levels of CO2 (400ppm) are much lower than 500 million years ago (3000-9000ppm).

Money, love, sex, let's add whiskey and music, and this file begins to be rock and roll.
BOE touched 20c and VAL touched 1,6c.
This night, all my australian uranium puppies made a good run, with incredible volumes. Something is really brewing in this sector. The utilities begin to panic?

I've noticed from your posts that you seem to like high-risk miners in the precious metal and uranium markets. How long do you usually hold these positions before selling?stefk wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 7:05 am I am now also placed in AAZ.V, They are waiting results of the winter drilling campaign.
