Interim Market Update March 25, 2020

Post by SOL »

Bullish sentiment touched the 51% mark on Tuesday and the markets are overbought on the daily charts. We don’t follow the daily charts closely but at times they can provide data in terms of volatility. V readings also surged to new highs and so all in all, the current volatility is to be expected and when 33K was tested, that development also indicated that we should expect more volatility in the markets. From a long term perspective, the current correction represents another buying opportunity. In the short term, acid levels will rise if you allow emotions to enter into the equation. However, the proper way to handle the current development is to understand that the market is doing what it does best. It's getting rid of the weak hands and building momentum to trade to new highs. If the correction gathers steam, then the adage of sell in May and go away might not apply this year.

I wish I could find the quote or remember where I heard/read it but: "A bull must shake off as many riders as possible before it can leap to new heights."

I'm paraphrasing and if anyone can source that quote for me please chime in. :)
-FOMOing in is how the masses loose their asses.
-"forget bitcoin, focus on your balls......." -Stefk
-Misinformation: noun, information that is true and correct and might lead people towards freedom and autonomy instead of tyranny and slavery.

Well, while someone tries to figure that out, here are some cool other quotes

“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.” – T.S. Elliot

“Working hard for something we don’t care about is called stress; working hard for something we love is called passion.” – Simon Sinek

Love these quotes!

For me, the more intense the experience the more I learn. Unlike the masses running away, you will be surprised when you go in hell and keep going, get out with a batch of lemonade and a sun tan

Nervous willies never win anyway. The game is all about understanding ones emotions while going through torment

Here we go boys and girls, for weeks on end many subscribers were crying that they could not find anything to buy and now your wish has been granted. The question is how will these chaps react. Will they panic with the crowd or look at the long term picture and say, heck just a few weeks ago I would have paid 10 to 20% more for these stocks and now they are trading well below what I would have been willing to pay back then.

Also, remember that we will experience one stronger than expected correction. That correction one or even two of the initial rallies will fail and when this comes to pass, we are likely going to get another Mother Of all buy signals (MOAB) or maybe just maybe the Father of all Buys will be triggered (FOAB)

Honestly most will probably panic, took me a year to fully implement TI methodology, which means I spent a year fighting my ego.

What did I learn? The mass mindset never pays well. Fear pays poorly.

I have loaded up 4 plays this week from both MU and AI. So far they are all positive so I am very happy about it. But that means my cash level is even lower now. I need to unload most of my plays before the arrivals of MOAB and FOAB.

FISV traded down to a hairs breath of its top "buy" signal today and then retreated upward. Last week within minutes of Sol posting the above post the Dow ran back up. The same day about 6 plays were very close or barely under the buy signal and then they all ran back up quite rapidly. Don't you feel like the market is a tease? Maybe she is a beautiful lady that is toying with us. :) Just an observation. Thanks to this forum I am more and more viewing this as a game and am just amused rather than frustrated.
