3/25/21 BUY KRE $63.92 (1x proxy for DPST since Vanguard doesn't allow buys on leveraged funds)

I don't understand. I have AIN listed as an orphan (meaning no mention in latest Market update) with the last mention Feb 28th with a buy recommendation at $68. But AIN hasn't dipped below $79. Did I miss something?

EDIT: NoLimit nailed it. I searched AIN and found too many results so I searched Albany and got no hits.

I would be careful with labels like "orphan", depends on how you think of it... If I had a TI Spreadsheet I might give a column for "last mentioned" so you can easily go back and re-read guidance/analysis for that ticker without too much searching.

MU Mar. 11th edition, page 4:
Despite the strong move upwards, the stock has plenty of room to run, as our indicators are trading in the extremely oversold
ranges. Those that have no position can use pullbacks to the 78 to 81.00 ranges to open a new position.

I have a column like that. But it's labeled DATE and I simply update the date along with a unique color each time it's mentioned. Unfortunately we all make mistakes and I missed it. It would be nice if there was a shared standard spreadsheet of plays even if it were "user supported". It might be something we could post to forum if file attachments were allowed.

I call them "orphans" to gently annoy SOL so he stops randomly not mentioning active plays. It hasn't worked so far. It only results in occasional reminders from SOL that if a play isn't mentioned it doesn't mean he's forgotten about it. But randomly not mentioning plays while mentioning 95% of the others (including old plays) still baffles and befuddles me.

To get annonyed easily means emotions are doing the talking. I will look at some of these old plays more often, but again the reason some plays are mentioned more often and others are not is that the pattern is changing in them while in the others nothing has changed that warrants an update. In other words, I would be just shooting bullets for no reason hoping that they randomly strike something

Thanks for the response SOL. I think of leaving the old entries such as Intel in alphabetical order in the updates is more as placeholders (acknowledgement we hold the position) rather than a need to revisit or reanalyze. You already do this with most of our plays. No need to shoot bullets. :-)

May I request something @Sol? Can we have a shared Google Spreadsheet?

If the spreadsheet had a column (buy price) and another column (current price) and (percent from current buy price) we could sort based on those metrics. Apparently Google has an API that lets you hook right into the live stock prices so you would not have to update this manually!

Another paid stock service I am a part of does something similar to this and works out great.

Here is the documentation for the Google Finance Spreadsheet API

And a blog of someone explaining how to use it

if this is something that is to implement from your end. I could have our guys increase the permitted space for attachments.

I will have our guys look into this, but if someone has already created this or has the expertise for this maybe they can speed up the process. Triplethought might be one such person.

The only downside I see which could be a big one is if the sheet falls into non-subscribers hands and it could be posted anywhere on the net after that.
