Stock up 25% this morning on sale of Catalyst Division to Homeywell.
My presumption is half should be sold per TI but maybe the entire position?

Well, one can always customise things and tweak instructions to suit one's own rhythm. I’m still trying to track down the guy who went broke by selling at a profit, no matter how small. In this case, though, the gain is substantial.MarkD wrote: ↑Thu May 22, 2025 12:30 pm Stock up 25% this morning on sale of Catalyst Division to Homeywell.

When the words short term appear under any post; the same conditions listed in the Market update under the short term category apply
The end is always near; its the beginning and how you live each moment that counts the most

Buffett was critical of Ben Graham for tending to sell too quick and not let his winners run. As a result, large losers could overwhelm winners. But then Buffett's point was Graham was less discerning in his buys.SOL wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 4:45 pmWell, one can always customise things and tweak instructions to suit one's own rhythm. Overall it proved to be a good play. I was too discerning in buys, meant to add more but waited and waited and then it took off. But as many point out, you can't go broke if you sell at a profit, but they fail to point out if you don't have enough invested in the market you can't retire rich either
