Right, my thoughts:
Wow, that was quite a mouthful! Haha, I must admit, I didn't see that coming at all. Nevertheless, I found what you typed to be quite interesting. The chap does oscillate from one topic to another.bpcw wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 8:39 pmRight, my thoughts:
Quite a difficult watch/listen as it seems to be a string of different ideas, trying to grasp what he's saying is like trying to grasp the wind but perhaps that's because of just one isolated video.
I will attempt to summarise what I think he's saying:
Advanced societies seemed to spring up in different parts of the world at the same time with similar technologies and we don't understand what these were such as the mechanisms for building the pyramids. The dates of geological features in these societies seem to go back 25k years + rather than the currently accepted age of around 5k. Advanced societies seem to get devastated by certain events such as a meteorite that wiped out populations thousands of years ago in cycles of 5k years but also mentions another cycle of 25 years. This is different from the prevailing thinking of a linear progression of societies from unsophisticated to greater sophistication. We need to gain freedom from the thinking of being victims that need a saviour such as technological to advance our biology. We need to understand the potential of our own biology as ancient societies did. Technology is being used to control us. We all have divinity and spirituality but this has been hijacked by religion, scientists etc. Our DNA is a communication pathway to the energy field.
So even putting this summary together I find the guy hard to take seriously unless someone can explain things a little clearer as.
He says that 'the evidence supports' quite a lot but of course we can interpret evidence anyway we like to make it fit our world view or any belief, we've seen this with the whole covid saga but of course this could be levied at religion or atheism. He dates certain things a lot older than currently accepted but dating methods use a lot of presumptions.
We cannot explain how the pyramids were constructed and I don't know the other things he is referring to when he talks about advanced ancient knowledge but interestingly the Bible refers to a race called the Nephilim who were giants and the result of angels making out with women. We don't know much about this there is scant details but it is thought that Goliath was one of a remainder of them. To supplement this there's the book of Enoch which although not part of the canon of scripture (Bible) is thought to be genuine. Enoch talks of angels teaching humans mysteries, and other things to advance their knowledge. We can't say too much as there just isn't the revelation but it could explain the pyramids, could giants have built it or how big could these fallen angels have been. These angles must have had bodies at this point, some accounts of them in the Bible seem to suggest they look like normal people and in other accounts the reaction of people is complete terror at how awesome they are, demons (fallen angels) which are very real do not have a body and is the reason they seek to enter people as they hate to be outside a body, Jesus sent 2000 into a herd of pigs at their request when casting them out of a man who couldn't be contained even with chains.
He mentions being aware of a carburettor in the 70s that can give cars 90 miles to the gallon - I thought a carburetor only provides the fuel/air mixture so find this hard to believe unless they're it was using something to make the fuel more explosive but doubtful.
Talks about freedom from technology and I agree with some of this thinking although it's really how the technology is used.
Seemed to be contradictory when he talks about evolving and not repeating the cycles when he seemed to be suggesting that these cycles were fixed periods.
Divinity - a rehash of the old age Satan lie of you can be like God.
DNA a pathway to some energy field - see this as creating a form of spirituality to some benevolent source without attributing to a higher being, I think this is trying to have your cake and eat it, wanting to have something out there that can help you which is inherent within us all but don't want to be accountable or answerable for one's behaviour.
I suppose I see the guy as creating his own almost religion, certainly a world view out of a mishmash of ideas that he's pulled together but with some concepts that I would agree with.
Now I need a lie down!![]()

You know how YouTube recommends videos to you? Well, that particular video just popped up on my screen the other day.
You are on a roll Brother BPCW. I haven't swayed in that direction thus far, and I don't believe I will do so in this lifetime.bpcw wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2023 3:31 pmOh, he's not your wife after all then!SOL wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2023 3:22 pmWow, that was quite a mouthful! "Hear, hear! Well, it's all in good fun. I had hoped you would have skimmed through the video. Next time, I'll be sure to mention that skimming is a must, lest I find myself caught in another volley of verbal bullets.
Not a problem, I will skim next time, I smiled when I realised you weren't serious about the video, I had thought it might be a test, you live and learn!
Interesting!
I agree, and think not rambling. Too trite to say "Its all good".AstuteShift wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 11:54 pm Tbh certain aspects of religion can in rich the soul. The problem is mostly people do not understand nor care to understand the complexity and the simplicity of our purpose in this world
How many ask what is my purpose? Many just live like robots and that’s why they lose in the markets and in life
I know some God fearing individuals and they’re pretty amazing in their own right. The biggest thing about them is they take responsibility of their actions and weigh the consequences of it.
In retrospect, when a calamity hits them. They smile. When they win, they smile. Faith can have that very powerful effect.
However, the ego, arrogance, copying others just to fit in ruins the person. They slip and lose sight of their purpose.
It makes you question about God and perhaps this life is a test. Perhaps this is Mass Psychology at a grand scale inside your soul itself.
Forgive my rambling but it’s just what I have been thinking for several months so far
It's good that you are thinking about such things.AstuteShift wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 11:54 pm Tbh certain aspects of religion can in rich the soul. The problem is mostly people do not understand nor care to understand the complexity and the simplicity of our purpose in this world
