Took some profit off NVDA @ 280, then @380. Only 1/5 left. Wonder how long this FOMO will last.AstuteShift wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 3:07 pm Nvidia off to the races, good timing![]()
The monthly charts on the SOXX for me is super bullish, I would not be surprised if it surpasses its old highs. High risk high reward
Never chase upmarkets however

Have you noticed the significant number of times AI is mentioned in earnings calls, and how many companies are referencing AI? Market cycles are extending their durations for both bottoming and topping. Many a great tech companies have been left behind that will catch up.AstuteShift wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 3:07 pm Nvidia off to the races, good timing![]()

A new buzzword and since Wallstreet analysts are oblivious to the potential of AI they eat it up usually.SOL wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 5:59 pmHave you noticed the significant number of times AI is mentioned in earnings calls, and how many companies are referencing AI? What’s interesting is that the NVDA CEO sold a ton of shares after this pump. Anyone chasing after this pump is entering being a fool territory.
I still think a bottoming formation is taking hold, however the market needs to shake up some weak hands. I would not be surprised if the FED starts to keep up with its interest rates hikes to flush the weak players out. We have July FOMC then August it’s quiet for their Jackson hole scam confidence lol.
The fall is going to be interesting.
I think once Bitcoin forms a significant bottom, along with the dollar top then it will be a true confirmation signal. The FED has not been pumping money to the system like before, to the untrained eye, QE has not stopped, it’s just has not been publicized. JP Morgan buying up weak banks is part of the FEDs plan to make the mega banks the only players in town.
Once another manufacturing crisis occurs, whether banking etc then the FED will be the hero once again to the clueless masses

The dollar is close to completing an interesting formation. First and foremost, the consolidation should not have lasted this long, as it has now almost pushed the monthly charts into the oversold range. And this alone is a rather remarkable feat.AstuteShift wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 12:21 amA new buzzword and since Wallstreet analysts are oblivious to the potential of AI they eat it up usually.SOL wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 5:59 pmHave you noticed the significant number of times AI is mentioned in earnings calls, and how many companies are referencing AI? If the dollar pattern completes, it could potentially surprise everyone by surpassing its previous highs and surging up to 120. This outcome would contradict the prevailing argument that the dollar is destined for destruction, albeit temporarily, but that's a topic for another day. While those who foresee a dollar decline may be correct in the long run, the problem is that most people invest with their mouths and act with their feet.
The dollar is off to a good start, and a potential bottom here could align nicely with a short to intermediate top in the markets. Currencies tend to lead the markets.

Thought I read somewhere that about 70% physical $ cash held outside US. Messing with the $ has seismic ripples.SOL wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 1:41 pmThe dollar is close to completing an interesting formation. Marry/put a ring on INTC for the next few decades, while inviting NVDA over for a night or two of "Netflixing," before sayonara.
