50 or 100mg lol

Btw as you are Dr, is it dangerous for a normal guy to take it. Someone I know took it last year and well last say he was on fire for much longer than he expected. He pitched a tent that did not want to go down for several hours.
Very safe for most - certainly 666.666x safer than cv19 vaccines - for healthy dude, start with 25mg.

For anyone who believes FB is yesterday's story. Picked this up last evening. Things are progressing more rapidly than I imagined. With all of the tech layoffs announced or beginning there will even be more progress as folks are redeployed into AI. Clearly remember the beginning of digital printing two plus decades ago.

Maybe we should check in two decades

On my charts I see:
Daily: going lower
Weekly: going lower
Monthly: going lower (possibly as low as $63)
Quarterly: going lower (potentially $67.87)

I'll review the charts if it gets into the $60s. May be backing up the truck.

I won't mention the stock because it brings back painful memories. I sat there with all my charts, Weekly, monthly yearly etc and was sure that the stock would hit X price. Meanwhile in reality 8 months before I would have been willing to pay 20 bucks more for the stock based on its current price. Well it missed my target by 9 bucks and I missed out on a massive win. The stock went on to double and then triple and then more.

What's the moral of the story? It probably has different meanings for different people, but historically one is better jumping in a little bit early then waiting for those perfect targets to be hit. They say FB was a CIA project, if that is true the CIA won't let META sink. Just imagine how much data you could glean of people when they live their lives in the metaworld in the same way they would in this world. Their guard would be totally down, potentially its the most valuable database the world might ever see. Test everything in VR, gauge the reaction and then apply it in the real world

Sol you are so right, I now know what one of my friends has for breakfast, lunch and dinner. ;)

This is highly valuable information! :)

But what time do they poop? With the upcoming toilet paper shortage, this could be invaluable information!

Anyone who has been in the markets for any period of time has the scars to prove it. Maybe someone(s) in the intel community wants to get META at a lower price? Who knows, I don't, and I don't care. The less I read about a company the happier I am because everything written or spoken about a company is just propaganda. Apart from my charts, I will occasionally check Piotroski, Beneish and Altman scores. For META:

P-F is at 4, not great but not bad but it's at its lowest score in 12 years
B-M at -3.35 so it's not manipulating its numbers
A-Z at 4.69 - it's safe but well off its median of 23.44

My charts say more hurt to come. Take it, leave it or use it as an indicator that the bottom is in.

Fair enough, and it aptly matches your handle :). How accurate are those scores you use, on a historical basis?

Accurate? No idea. Hell, I can't even keep track or update my portfolios this year because of everything else that I have going on. Re this random shit I throw out, I'm thinking I need to identify as an economist which means I never have to look in the rearview mirror only keep throwing out more random numbers and go on my curmudgeonly way.

You folks on here must be the judge. To help here's something I put together (can't remember when, early Oct maybe, it's not in my notebook therefore I did it on a scrap of paper). It's a work in progress and needs updating. Some of the AITT cos. Might need some deciphering but's that what I'm here for.

Currently, I putting something together on Dow 30. I'll post (if I ever get it finished) with a legend to explain the hieroglyphics.

Before FCF improves following the layoffs take affect. And this IS a still a growth story.

As an investor in META, I hope you are right. My 2c (which is, bear in mind worthless now as I identify as a politician and not an economist. Therefore, I lie 100% of the time  ): Hope is not a strategy.

RIFs (reductions in force) do remove the major expense from the bottom line, and I seem to remember it was often used to get a bounce (and increase the value of the stock options for the big boys).

Daily charts looking better and may help turn the weekly, but I don't think so. Here's daily - ADX turned lower, MACD turning up and RSI is out of the O/S (I use 20 & 80 for O/S and O/B. Some default to 30/70) so we get a bounce:

But if I look at weekly, it's still fugly. Same as the monthly. ADX is in control meaning the last level of support (Lower Bollinger) is taken out of the picture. There's no support there. I have to go to the quarterly where support is at 69 and the sooner this POS gets there the better. Then I "hope" we get a reversal. But, as we stand now, I think we are in a dead cat bounce:

I own shares of META with 20% gain thanks to the recent gap up.

Considering SOL's Interim Update from yesterday and the sell order for MSFT, what would you recommend me to do with META ? :?

Very nice looking on Monthly, but weekly shows some potential tough sledding for now. All depends :?:

I have META as well. Three lots at 45%, 75% and 116% gain.

This is a long term investment for me. However, I will trim my least profitable lot if I gets to 264 because that appears to be the most defined ceiling that it will run into next.

I've sold about 50% of my position (e.g. let those shares get called away by selling covered calls on them) - some of that occurred today. I'm continuing to sell covered calls on the remainder of my META position striking at about 15% delta, and not fighting terribly hard to not let them called away (not rolling these options over if they fall ITM during expiry period).

Although I am long-term bullish on the Metaverse - for me, as previously stated, it's a "when" question, not an "if" question - it's going to take time for the hardware to reach the masses at a significant level at reasonable prices for mass adoption.

Pesky humans generally overestimate the time that "software" (e.g. chattygeepee, internet, etc.) will disrupt stuff, but underestimate how long it will take the software to cause changes in material/physical reality at scale.

Another example is that it's easier to change a pesky human's thinking process (e.g. "software" for the noodles) than it is to change her obesity (material/physical reality), generally-speaking.

So Metaverse will take time. Of course, as we all know, anything can happen when it comes to stocks, so certainly META could continue going a lot higher from here, but it's not my base case.

Perhaps most importantly, Cramer (the same dude who suddenly turned bearish on META around $100) just recently turned bullish on Meta - after the run-up. JimmyC is a gr8 contrarian indicator wrt certain stocks - about 80%+ accurate, by my estimation, when he gets emotional about a particular stock (e.g. when Meta fell to about $100, he was crying on CNBC).
