Where Sol recomends protective hedge put buying out 8-12 months for long term holders- is there a suggestion of how far out of the money to purchase them? Also if one is leaning to the market to rise until closer to the end of the 1st half of 2023 - is it better to wait until close to upside of the rise to buy or to buy now still fairly mildly into the uprise (ie when would one get better prices)? For myself i would probably concentrate on really long term stocks and etf's that were pre TI for myself (It appears generally that TI considers 3-4 years long term) and that have me in a bit of a trap tax wise as too much unrealized Cap gain to sell now (maybe i will wait and sell in 3 stages dec and Jan before i finally croak later in Jan and final stage in my estate so i can spread my big Cap gains out over 3 tax periods in my income tax returns if there really is a God )
