Tomorrow
Having such a huge rally today, what are the chances of an extended rally tomorrow vs. a pullback, however slight. It seems the market may have over extended today. Thoughts?

Re: Tomorrow
Could initially get some follow through and then come down a couple of percent from profit taking but hopefully will recover quickly and the short term trend for tech and smaller companies push up for several weeks into the Santa rally giving us plenty of time to gradually move into cash.

Re: Tomorrow
Sol mentioned to watch the $DXY. I believe that would be prudent.

Yes, I watched it drop last night but now it is shooting up. I went long on SOXS before market close and we shall see how long it can hold up. It really bothers me that Powell is so distrustful and unprofessional. It should not be this way. MF'r.

On the same topic ("today"), Sol's predicted Crypto price action in the latest MU (Nov 9th 2022) seems to be unfolding as he thought it might.
If BTC closes this week below 18k, I'm curious to find out what happens next. BTC's next hard support (around 14k I believe?), and the string of "lower lows" on the way there, all seem like great opportunities for a ~450% play on the long-term side of things (if BTC was to revisit its ATH anytime between now and the peak of the cybernetics bull market, that is).

Re: Tomorrow
btc's got a very strong support zone in the 12k to 15k range ... i've been accumulating a lot of bito shares, and selling covered calls on them.JayceP wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 5:22 pm On the same topic ("today"), Sol's predicted Crypto price action in the latest MU (Nov 9th 2022) seems to be unfolding as he thought it might.

could that zone break? anything can happen, but then that would just be another wondrous accumulation opportunity.
my base case is for btc to test aths (around 70k) sometime in '24, before or around the time of the next halving ...

On a separate note, has anyone noticed how many black swan events have occurred over the past 24 months? COVID, an overly aggressive Fed, Insane sanctions against Russia that hurt those imposing the sanctions more than Russia, the FTX Debacle, they had 1 billion in cash against close to 8 billion in liabilities, and the list goes on and on

Yes we have, was just talking to my wife about it yesterday, and it will set the scene for a white swan to appear at some point.SOL wrote: ↑Mon Nov 14, 2022 6:53 am On a separate note, has anyone noticed how many black swan events have occurred over the past 24 months? Instead of saying the list goes on I should have mentioned it to. But as far as the West is concerned the Narrative that Russia and Russians deserve to be punished and destroyed is in full play. The majority have swallowed this narrative hook line and sinker. I don't expect anything to change unless the crowd stands up and says "no más"

SOL,
I, for one, say "no mas!". As I get older I realize just how vulnerable people are to addiction and propaganda. Our sense of purpose through work is being replaced by immediate gratification, and it is going to leave the human race in shambles, even the elite.

Pretty decent 10 minutes on one possibility for btc's price action next year. The speaker is most famous for making the "sub-20k" btc prediction quite publicly late last year when btc was 40k, all the way up to challenging 69k, and sticking to this particular prediction, even when he was speaking at a crypto conference at the height of crypto euphoria.
Basically, he thinks btc may base around 9k near April '23.
One possibility among many others.
He's predominantly a pure swing-trader of positions. Made many great calls, but also many bad ones.
Future's ultimately unknowable.
