When the words short term appear under any post; the same conditions listed in the Market update under the short term category apply
The end is always near; its the beginning and how you live each moment that counts the most

One thing I always keep in mind is that older and especially "ancient" medical wisdom is likely obsolete. That's why I'm unimpressed when some new vendor of the week touts some "ancient herbal remedy the Chinese have known about for thousands of years". My Chinese friends always smile and say "In China everyone wants western medicine"SOL wrote: ↑Tue Dec 29, 2020 3:22 pm
Vitamin E, as its name indicates, was the fifth type of "vitamin" factor to be identified, and it received its name in 1922, even though its chemical structure hadn't been identified. The public quickly understood and accepted that certain substances in food were essential for life and health, so by 1940 practically all physicians were recommending the use of nutritional supplements.
Since Vitamin E might exacerbate prostate cancer (which is one I'm genetically prone to) I tend to do "all things in moderation. ... Including moderation"

Current atmospheric levels of CO2 (400ppm) are much lower than 500 million years ago (3000-9000ppm).

Re: What science says about it?
Science and scientists are also under influence of mass psychology. But in science, consensus doesn't mean scientific truth.

since 2015, a premium of 10K dollars is offered to the first person who can demonstrate by experiment that warming since 1970 could be explained by the rise of CO2 concentration. No one can prove it.

In science consensus is irrelevant. What is relevant is reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus. There is no such thing as consensus science. If it’s consensus, it isn’t science. If it’s science, it isn’t consensus. Period.” Michael Crichton

""The unfortunate fact is that the greenhouse-warming theory freight train left the station long ago and is still gaining momentum at it heads for a monumental crash with scientific and political reality.""
