BSX named in a lawsuit
For what it's worth BSX is mentioned in a class action suit today. BSX is active play with Sol recommending a Call and the price at $1.38 tonight is within the price target (my order is already in). I also purchased our first BSX call on Oct 1 of 2020 so it's in the date range of the law suit. the same law firm is going after 2 other companies so sounds like fishing expedition. But I never know how much these stories should impact our thinking on stock buys. Perhaps this is why the stock ratcheted down this morning? Thought I'd put it out to Sol and the collective hive mind here.

I have learned to ignore all these ambulance chasers; even when I had shares that would be entitled to some share of the "negotiated" settlement - the paperwork and delays in processing the claims are not worth the loss, if in fact there was one.Triplethought wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 10:44 pm For what it's worth BSX is mentioned in a class action suit today. Every publicly traded company is perpetually named in a "class action" lawsuit. Ignore that noise.

Re: BSX named in a lawsuit
There was one prominent class action group that eventually got driven out of business for their particular scam. They'd start a whisper campaign and have their tame financial correspondents raise issue(s) about a company usually followed by Cramer shouting his mouth off. Somewhere it would be suggested that the SEC were about to look into this company. Price craters and in comes the class action claim. Funny thing, it was always the same one or two guys named as lead claimant.

BSX jumped today
BSX has had a nice jump today after reporting lower than expected earnings (go figure). They're at $38.64 right now. The jump was apparently due to the reported potential for upside from a recently announced takeover of Preventice Solutions.
Our BSX Call for $45 Jan 2022 is up and one lot (the lower priced one purchased in December) is showing a nice profit. But after re-reading SOLs guidance to close $42-$45 and given a year to run I've decided to hold.

Got in a lot of stock at $35.60 and a lot of option at $1.65. Yeah I guess I will hold and see if it could trade above $40.

BSX Main move still not underway

The MACD's have still not experienced a bullish crossover and if the current pattern holds, then there is an above-average chance that when the MACD's experience a bullish crossover, that this stock could pop as much as 20% over a very short period. we might have to raise our targets
