I know several people who've just given up on online dating. They've tried it for months or years with no good prospects. Plus awkward or bad dates. I have a friend who swears he's better in person or at parties. He's on the short side - 5'6" and claims women won't even entertain a first date with short guys based on the profile. Plus he refuses to let them know he's a decamillionaire because he doesn't want someone who wants him for his money. Personally I would lead with that as I've found money a powerful aphrodisiac. But hey money is what you use when you don't got game I guess.

Either way I'm finding it baffling that people are giving up online dating. Unless they're meeting more through social media.

I used to be a people pleaser sadly actually still have that tendency, trying to do only as I please. Dependable yes, but a tool no way in hell . I'm halfway through the book 1984, the whole beginning half is such hatred especially towards the opposite sex.
