It certainly cracked a decent joke according to the dude.

That was a good clip, and certainly better than the short story I read about this issue a few days ago. And the interviewer appeared to be engaged, which is not always the case.

Themed joke - demonstrates clearly the type of person who initially programmes these things. In the same vein I would expect it to say things like "You just wait until the robots take over" and so on.

What interested me most was the "Western Bias" argument - very similar to the issues raised about IQ tests a while ago.

Either way, this chap has created some debate and that is no bad thing. And he addresses the One Overriding Fear (OOF!), which is that we might create a tool that we can no longer control.

I concur he was able to get across the key points in a manner that the average person could understand, and that's no easy feat when dealing with such a massive concept.
