Re: Fills
Yah i see that and good on Langdj. However to keep the new one going strong and avoid confusion maybe a new name for this subject like Fills with Frills or Fills and hodgpoge - something catchy? that is line with where u want the direction of this subject matter to go as a lot of it is in line with other subjects
be in/do the PRESENT = Live the MIRACLE = infinity; there is no more, Why not now?... The Law of Mirrors. I'd go insane if I didn't act crazy

Re: Fills
After sleeping on it forget the catchy part and suggest to say exactly what it is like "Fills Discussional" or "Fills Dicussional Only" as an amended subject title.........

If you guys feel this is not relevant here, let me know. I abide by the same rules as everyone has to. No special exemptions
To free some cash, I sold CYBE (as the position was and still is slightly profitable) yesterday, and today I will attempt to sell some Nov 35 puts; if filled, I will then use some of these funds to purchase calls. I call it a delayed debit spread.
I am also testing this out on HIMX. My goal is to sell some of the HIMX stock and then use the proceeds to either sell Puts and use the funds to purchase calls or purchase in the money calls but with a lot of time premium. I will aim for Jan 2024 calls. The idea with purchasing in the money calls is to reduce the cost of owning the shares. You can control 100 shares at a cheaper rate. This strategy should only be used sparingly and wisely. For example, if you own 100 shares, then you should only purchase one in the money Jan 2024 call. Don't sell too much stock as they are paying a very handsome dividend soon.

Based on this idea I just sold 1 PUT CYBEROPTICS CORP $35 EXP 11/18/22 @$3. I was surprised it executed immediately so I probably paid too much. Received only $300. So next phase should be to purchase calls? What date and strike would you be looking at?SOL wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 3:41 pm If you guys feel this is not relevant here, let me know. Bought KMB @ $129. (I'm avoiding most calls due to market risk but the entry point and lot size is the same as the new play for KMB Jan 2024 $120 call between $127-$129). stock has since bounced back up to $130

HIMX
Last to collect what now amounts to almost a 16.6% dividend on this stock. It will pay 1.25 I believe on July 15 or 16th but today is the last day to be shareholder on record for this dividend
