Fear

Even when you lose (at times) embrace the losses as you do the wins and you will naturally win more.
In my experience, embracing fear and integrating it is better than "fighting it," "resisting it," "trying to kill it," etc. From this perspective, the emotion is transformed into something more helpful - like excitement, focus, alertness, etc. - or it simply dissolves, and one is left with a particular useful insight or two.

"You win or you learn."

I suspect TLT is bottoming at current levels and within three to six months or so, yields will likely go down again, and I am fairly patient with big positions. Long-term U.S. bonds, along with the USD, are among the most hated assets at the moment.

If TSLA goes to the five hundreds you should have a nice profit there based on what I saw when I was in.
Current atmospheric levels of CO2 (400ppm) are much lower than 500 million years ago (3000-9000ppm).

Both the TSLA stock price and put contract go down today, doesn't make sense.

Don’t get discouraged

The vix is a lot lower but Tesla did not go down as much as the previous put play you were in also

In the long run, Tesla should go down based on MP but it doesn’t mean to tumble immediately.

Also be aware of Murphy's law, everything will not work the way it is supposed to work out, but that is no reason to stop doing what works. Nothing works 100% as the markets are far from fair. They love to throw a monkey wrench into the best laid out plas. The idea is to win more and lose less

Indeed, I have a 50 percent loss limit on options. No emotions in this equation

For me, unfortunately it hit my stop limit on leaps. However, luckily the AI plays are finally at good prices and MSFT so it was a good experiment.

Follow your trading plan and as usual, never bet the full house on options.

BABA was almost unscathed following last week's market sold off of Chinese related stocks. Very interesting.

BABA is finally moving into the buy ranges. If the support holds it should be in a position to trend higher. If it cracks then we are looking at test of 111 to 120 ranges.

SOL any entry targets, from where I stand 120 to 129 look like attractive entry points. Maybe my GTC buy order might eventually get filled. It's been in place for over 3 months

I think we may get a bounce but my monthly chart says we're not finished the downward trend. I'm looking at $115.

SOL wrote: Tue Feb 09, 2021 1:34 pm TSLA and BABA are trading in the extremely overbought ranges, the MACD's on the monthly charts for BABA has experienced a bearish crossover. Everything eventually reverts to the mean. The market either corrects or those stocks that experienced hyperbolic moves pull back strongly as the rest of the market trends sideways or moves higher. The Nasdaq could still potentially trade all the way to 1450 but that does not mean certain sectors or stocks will not implode.

To win, one has to not worry about winning, if you focus on losing factor (the fear factor), then all your worst nightmares will come to pass.
Your outlook On BABA has come to pass. I am glad I waited. Is the selling over is it time to nibble or can BABA trade lower
