For me, there is nothing wrong with traditions, and certainly with religious traditions.

Every people, every nation adapted the imposed abrahamic monotheism with their ancestral beliefs and ethnic culltual traditions, I dont speak of religion, this word didnt exist in the antiquity. Here in Europe, ALL the people were polytheist, but the most powerful deity was the mother earth goddess.
The first christian preachers adapted their dogmas with the powerful ancient beliefs, yes they had a good marketing policy, to impose their dogmas.

When I go in Portugal, I am always surprised by the importance of the virgin Mary. In the church, the representation of Mary is more important than Jesus. The european nations and their people have thousands years of mother earth cult traditions in their past.!!!!!!!! it is genetic !!!!!!!
