Yodean, surprised to see you have an Avatar that is wearing a mask? Don't worry I am not mad, just disappointed......just disappointed
He is becoming one with the dark force and if you look at the darkness from a different angle it could be viewed as the positive force. For darkness or more aptly dark objects get their colour because they absorb the light and reflect the dark colours. White or light objects absorb darkness and reflect light.
But do note his Main Avatar is unmasked so one could say he is putting the Yin and the Yang into practise or as we call it the law of balancing.

I still see masks as a good hygiene thing. For general sicknesses.

Lol, when in Rome ... also, the TIT created a very nice main avatar for me (i.e. unmasked BlackBelt combined with Go Board). The masked ranking avatar fits my current self-conception of the Grey WISC (Wolf in Sheep's Clothing).
On another note, hope you have recovered fully from your groin injury. I had one of those a long time ago, and it took some time for complete healing - pretty annoying injury.

They diagnosed me very quickly to point out that pain was referred pain from my lower back. I was very surprised as my lower back did not even really hurt. They showed me muscle activation exercises for the hip and stretches for the lower back. In two visits I am recovered enough to be on a ski vacation. I am about to go out in a Nor Easter in the White Mountains.

What's with the pysocodelic colours, trying to induce epileptic fits!
I was seeing red for a while, swimming in the Sea of Blood that is my brokerage account. Now, I am hoping for a green shoots recovery.

Nah, from an investment perpective, I had a fantastic year in '20, what was shaping up to be almost as great a year in '21 or even better than '20, then '21 turned into a pretty decent year overall even after horrible Q4 results were taken into account.
I'm down pretty big in '22, but to some extent I had expected that I would face a big drawdown at some point - my portfolio has pretty high beta - so I am taking this time as an opportunity to further refine and improve my trading-investing skills, as well as reducing my emotional attachment to money, which I am always working on to some extent, whether the markets are up or down. I tend to learn the most and make the most progress - in and out of the markets - when circumstances turn against me.

Yes I know overall you're doing very well and are a savvy investor and also have a good perspective on money and life, just a bit of banter between us!
Rocky sure told him, I'm off for a run now, gonna find the nearest hill and when I get to the top I'm gonna jump up and down with my arms in the air!
I hope you're writing doesn't go brown as I'll know you're in the ****!

@yodean and BPCW. I am almost nervous to type the next sentence as BPCW will start thinking I am a man of Faith hahaha. Ok, one day I will tell my story of how I got into the markets. However, for now, I have always felt the universe would take care of me if I just relaxed and paid attention to what was going around. In other words, things happen if you allow them to happen. My attachment to money keeps dropping, sometimes I wonder why people that have billions still keep going at it. if I had a tiny fraction of Elon's funds I would have vanished and I would not even care about what happened to Tesla. The same applies to Steve Jobs, even in his last days he was sloughing away, to me that was a complete waste of time
I focus more on today as I don't know what tomorrow will bring and today is the tomorrow you dreamt about changing yesterday but instead did absolutely S**T. I need even less now as I am outside the US. It amazes me all the time how much less one needs outside the US, my burn rate at a bare minimum is 50% less than in New York and I could still do very well by dropping it another 10 to 20%.
I just went to see a good Dr in Ukraine last week and my bill was about 10 bucks. For 10 bucks in NY, they would not even allow me to use the Toilet at the doctor's office hahaha
Another thing I find amusing but that's my personal opinion is how much effort people put into saving for their Golden years which in reality are anything but Golden, Rusted metal would be a better description for those years. Instead of socking so much money for a time when almost nothing works as well. Why not put aside a decent amount but put 10X more energy into maintaining your health. And the easiest way to start up the path of good health is by staying close to your ideal body weight. Obesity on its own is a co-morbidity that is associated with an increased risk for at least 18 diseases. If you have good health you would need much less when you are in your rusty years. I have met so many really wealthy individuals who now state that they would give all their money if they could have good health. Yet when they had good health they pissed it down the toilet to make all this money that they now would gladly give up to have the good health they had for free. The best things in life are free, but most only appreciate it when they lose it and then they become the most expensive things in this universe
Anyway enough of my loony rant

Sol, so what you're really saying is you love Jesus now, I've convinced you and you want to join me in the UK and learn from all my wisdom.
Lol, just kidding!

Sol, seriously everything you said is exactly the way I feel about money, health etc. I've thought for a long time about the idiosy of becoming a billionaire and still trying to get more, Warren Buffet for example in his 90s still investing and going on Bloomberg. People who work all their lives for a good retirement but are too afraid to retire when they get there because they think they might be bored or the job has become their identity. I have said for a long time that money for most is a curse, it enslaves rather than brings freedom.
If I could retire tomorrow I would never get bored, I barely do 20 hours a week now. I choose to have a better family/social life now rather than work 50 hours have a new car for my wife and I and a bigger house. We don't spend much money on items but we prioritise food and health and cups of tea with friends.
No one says on their death bed "I wish I'd spent more time in the office"!
