Metaverse

Combine all six in the Metaverse, so your Russian Leo partner won't beat you silly.

Why choose?! It's an "and" question, not an "or" one.

Btw, the root of the word "meta" may be construed to mean "death." Hmm ... kinda makes you think a bit ...

Metaverse = Death World! World of Living Zombies ...

Meta comes from the Greek prefix and preposition meta, which means “after” or “beyond.”

Good to buy some FB ... heard through the grapevine that Zuckerberg may have some Rothschild blood in him, after all ... and apparently the Rothschilds own a significant portion of FB (something like 8%?). Dunno if this is true.

But I generally want to buy a bit of what the Rothschilds are buying ...

End of stream-of-consciousness random rant induced by solar eclipse earlier today.

Had this one for 20+ years: https://www.ritcap.com
Slow & steady, unusual portfolio, quite a lot of private equity

Lord Rothschild is today Honorary President and his immediate family interests remain the largest shareholders with a holding of ~21%¹.

The private equity holdings might be interesting. If you care to and have the time to follow what private equity they are investing in, we can try to find something that matches that investment if applicable. If applicable means after looking at it, if the pattern is right we will look for a similar investment vehicle in the stock market

With music, you can travel everywhere in he world, but you can also travel in the far past history of the world, and you can find magnificent jewels, on the sidelines of the mainstream.

Guillaume de Machaut, nobody knows him anymore, was a prolific french artist of the XIV century, late medieval time. His music was a revolution at this time, it was ARS NOVA, a reaction to ARS ANTIQUA.

This guy lived a very long life for this time, during the black plague, during the war of 100 years.

Very hard times, and so sweet music. All was refined at this time, look at the clothes, and also the architecture.....

The same song in another style with the transalation of the old french.

The same song in the old classical style with a masculine voice

Thank you for the great history lesson and for making me aware of this music. Indeed this music is quite tantalising and pleasing to the ear. Until today I had never heard of this person. Now I can add it to my collection of songs to listen to

@stefk you might also find this ancient music to be of interest. If you listen to these songs, you realize how old civilization is and how man has corrupted everything via religion, politics, etc.

You are welcome Sol. These old songs are there for enjoying our lifes. You can try to sing these songs, I learned to sing when I worked in construction with Italians, great cantores the Italians. They always sing during the job, and they asked me why I never sing ( I just came out the school, and at school we dont learn to sing when working) and so I began to sing with and like them, and I remember that my grandmother always said me that her father was a tenor in the choir in the cathedral of Tournai. He always sang "minuit chrétien" in christmas.

I think you are from mexican origin, also great cantores the Mexicans......tthere are a lot of rich popular repertoires in latin America.

Stefk thanks for posting for that interesting music, Like SOL I have cultivated an extensive palate for music, though not as wide as his. He has posted an extensive list of the different types of tunes he listens to. I can only wonder how in Hell he is the time to find so many different types of music to appreaciate

This type of Russian rock is great for working out or for puncing a punch bag when frustrated lol

I don't know if this Korean a cappella group will challenge your mind, but I include here anyway - I find them uplifting.

Pink Panther

They do many others, and sound effects etc.
