Well, I thought the goal was to use this rally to sell our shares and get into 80%-100% cash before the expected crash.

I understand no one knows the future. I am learning.
.
That was the goal but so far each rally has been thwarted for various reasons. It adds to the frustration, but historically a market crash or severe correction has never occurred without a false flag signal. In this case, a rally that appears like a new bull but it's not, it puts in a lower high. Based on historical patterns, and Sentiment, it appears that the rally is being delayed and this suggests that not all indices are going to take out their August highs.
When the words short term appear under any post; the same conditions listed in the Market update under the short term category apply

I have been watching this chart for some time as this correction has been ongoing:

Nasdaq A/D volume is much higher than the other indices.

Here's a fundamental review of where we are. The CPI:PPI ratio is falling but even though the rate of descent is rapid, there's a ways to go. I don't trade on this stuff btw.

The August highs were not very high. Very few of my positions were profitable at that time.

There's this whole theory I ran across that the Nasdaq leads or lags the other indices, more often than not, on an intraday basis. I'm not a day-trader, but found the idea interesting.

Definitely more volatility in the Naz which leads to higher highs and lower lows.

The NASDAQ should be called the gamers zone. Maximum action, maximum volatility and the potentiate for huge gains and or losses if one acts like a pig
